How do I delete a review I have written? I see an option to edit, but not a way to delete the review altogether.

If you just want to delete the review but not the book, you can edit it and remove the text. If you want to get rid of the book, edit and you'll see a link to "remove from my books."
When I edit and delete the text, the option to "see review" disappears, but the words of the old review remain on the book's page.

I guess you can remove the book and add it again (write down your start and end dates!)
That is very likely a caching issue. Give it a day or two.(If it doesn't disappear, please contact Support, because librarians can't help with reviews.)
Caching may keep the review visible for a few days. If it's still there after a week, I'd contact support.
