This is making me nuts! I read this may be 3 years ado. Hopefully someone can help! So guy meets girl at motel. She's in a freezing busted down car with a little baby. He's broody and has a bad attitude about life. He's possibly mourning something? They end up road tripping to her destination...turns out to be her military husband's grave. Love ensues. Capers with her evil, possibly mafia - family. I know it was part of a series. I think maybe the last of the series. His friends have their own books. If anyone can help it would help help a lot!!
