Black Beauty by Anne M. Simpson is a classic tale about a black Arabian horse. As a young foal Black Beauty got his name because of the star on his head, and his amazing black coat. After he was trained, Black Beauty was sent to a new home, where he met two other horses, Marylegs and Ginger. Marylegs said that the masters were very kind, and he would love it here, and Ginger disagreed completely because she didn't trust any humans after here experiences with them. Later on, Black Beauty and Ginger get sent to another set of masters. After many masters, Black Beauty ends up with one who starves him, and doesn't take good care of him. Will Black Beauty survive? And what happens to Marylegs and Ginger? Find out in this great classical novel.
I would recommend this book to any horse lover, or anyone who enjoys a classic tale.
