How do I create a separate author profile for books written under a pen name?

Are you asking how to claim it? You'll have to use a different email address than the one you're using for this one.

So I just sign up for the pen name profile under a different email address - and then just go through the signup under the different name from there? I'll go ahead and try that...

I'm doing something wrong. I signed up for GoodReads with a completely new email under the second name - the penname. GoodReads sent me a confirmation that I was a GoodReads author under that pen name. But when I clicked on the link it said to go to for my author dashboard, it takes me back to my original author dashboard under my first author name. Clearly its still recognizing me by the first name - as well as the second. How do I fix that?

I'm registered as a GoodReads author under the pen name, but I simply need to create an author dashboard for that name too.

Sorry this isn't something Librarians can help with - we are volunteers who do the book cataloging & stuff like that. You will need to contact Support. (link at the top of this group)

If you saved your password to Goodreads at some point it may have automatically logged you in when you clicked the link. I would log completely out and sign in with the other name without clicking the link. If that doesn't work, you will need to ask Support about this.
