Caffee K. (kcaffee) | 461 comments I've moped and moaned about this around my blog site, and now I'm going to bring the moping over here. I need a bit of help with getting my next book started.

It's the third book in the series, and the cast of characters is expanding - I expected this, and am fine with it. The problem comes in that I am not sure if I should introduce the last character in this book (and, thus lead to the series climax), or wait until the next one. I'm thinking the series will be a total of 5 books.

The character in question, is the key to the whole climax - until they show up it won't happen. Up to this point, the MC, and slowly growing cast have been in a different environment, so are going to be facing some interesting times adapting to where they are now.

Theoretically, would this be enough to keep you interested? Or, would you prefer to skip the adaptation segment, and jump straight to the plot "u" turn?

This is written in the fantasy genre, and I have done nothing so far to flesh out the part of the world the characters will be entering. Hinted at it, as "the Sunlits" or "where the sun shines", but there is no actual development. However, 4 of the characters will be coming from this realm.

Ideas, thoughts? Help??
