So I guess Maddie has drifted and change, but people do that as they grow older. It has nothing to do with you, don't ever think that (just putting that out there). Maddie has chosen where she wants to go, and there's nothing you can do about it. And what, you're only in 7th grade? Middle school ... Ah good and bad times. Anyways, things will get better - maybe not between you and Maddie, but your life will eventually come to a flat lake where you can just rest a little while. I mean your school life is just a fraction of your entire life! I mean about twenty years of your life is in school, but the rest - that's like 60 years. Friends come and go, people change. It's just the way of life and you just have to flow with the river. Right now, is just figuring out who you can really trust, from what I've heard, Liz and Rachel seem like those kind of people, and of course your education. Don't worry to much about Maddie, let her be. Just worry about yourself. Again, best of luck.

You should be a therapist, you know that? You're really good at this advice thing! And yeah, seventh grade. At least the food in the cafeteria is good. Probably has something to do with the fact that where I buy it, they didn't actually make it themselves, lol. *grins* And thank you so much! I swear, you're so sweet! You guys have made me feels so much better! And you're right (of course you're right, you're pretty much always right, lol.)! This is only a tiny portion of my life. I have so much more to look forward to!

I'm glad I'm being helpful. I hope everything does work out, I truly do.
I never liked buying food from the cafeteria, it never really looked like it was meant to be consumed. I mean it was like plastic - it still is, but I head off campus for my lunch now. One thing I like about high school, open campus.
You are sweet too! You completely rock, as does everyone else on this site. It's times like these when I realize how much of a good decision it was to join the goodreads family. To think, I almost didn't ...
And yes! Look forward to the future! We still have so much more in store for us! And 2010 will be here before ya know it! A new year, a whole new story to open up before us. It's an empty canvas ready to be painted on or in our cases to be written on. :)
Daang. Yupp. She's an idiotic self-absorbed brat that doesn't need you. Your amazing and smart. And awesome don't forget that. Plus....seventh graders are evil...except us..lol. I understand having a best friend wanting to become popular. Its happened to me too but like you I have other best friends. :)

And thank you Krista! I swear, I have the awesomest and sweetest and overall bestest friends, on goodreads! And yeah, Liz is the best. So is Rachel. They're my two best friends at school. On goodreads, I have too many best friends to count! That's another thing I love about Goodreads, you know? You meet so many people who you are just so much more compatible with friend-wise, you know? I've found more best friends and kept all of them than I have at school. It stinks we can't all be in the same place, but we're all in different grades, lol, so I guess it'd be just a little futile. Still, it's be cool. =) I don't think she's going to change back though. She just gets worse as the year goes on. I guess we just lost touch. I don't know. Short one minute chats at the lockers between classes doesn't cut it I guess. Liz and I feel like we've already lost her. She hangs out with so many different kids now. She's a pastor's daughter, did you know that? She meets so many kids though church, and I'm fine with that. I mean, it's great. But..... you know back in July, and this was AFTER she finally got that it was all a misunderstanding in April, she didn't even invite me to her birthday party? That hurt. But you know... that's Maddie, I guess. After April, nothing was really the same. I thought it was, I did my best, but she was already starting to stray away and now? She's too far gone to save. I shouldn't have tried. But I guess that's that, right? I'm glad I have you guys, though. =) I think you guys have probably salvaged much of my sanity over the past few months. You guys are the best.
