Week 40 Check-In

For the week of Sept. 29- Oct. 5.

Didn't finish any books. Busy packing and moving. I did make more progress on We Hunt the Flame. I was really enjoying it and then the author did something that I had to put the book down for because I got angry. Good characters but the flow and random, sudden, unnecessary surprises make the story seem jarring and just off somehow. Will finish soon.

I read 'Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald' by J.K. Rowling. Again, it was a good book but I'm not a huge fan of screenplays.

Made some progress on other books, but I bought a house and started moving in, so wasn't able to read much either!
