I am 110 pages into this book it is interesting so far I like the mystery of it all and I really like the characters as well. So far I really like Celine with her boldness and independence I even liked the bits where she left France to escape after something she did it is not explained in much detail yet. I like the people that surround Celine especially Pippa who is a ever loyal friend and I like the intro duction of Bastien and how mysterious he seems. I really like the plot so far Celine and a group of other girls have arrived in New Orleans to start a new life. I like the mysterious parts and the bits of horror that have shown up so far,
I am 212 pages into this book and it just keeps getting more and more intriguing the more I read of it. Celine is still likable Pippa is still dependable and I really do find Bastien very mysterious. I find Celine to be very interesting something horrible happened back in France (view spoiler) she has a low opinion of herself because of that and thinks everyone else will think the same as she does. I like the story it just gets more and more mysterious the further I get I am really enjoying reading this book.
I am 302 pages into this book I find it to be very intriguing and the mystery just deepens I am liking the relationship between Celine and Bastien that is steadily growing bit by bit. I still really find Celine a strong and interesting character I also like Odette and Michael he is fiercely protective of Celine since she has been targeted and Odette is a LGBT character in a world that just did not accept it. I am still really liking the story the mystery is slowly being unraveled the more that is found out.
I am 400 pages into this book and I really love it so very much. I still really love the characters especially Celine and Bastien I am liking how much closer yet somehow further they get to each other. The other characters are interesting Bastien's Uncle is interesting and a great foil to the story. I am still loving the story the mystery has unraveled more and no for certain many of the characters are vampires its been a long time since I read a really good paranormal romance.
I have finished this book and I really loved it and am looking forward to the sequel. I really still love the characters especially Celine and Bastien I really loved how their relationship moved from antagonistic to love. I really loved how Celine grew as a character willing to lose her (view spoiler) I just loved her character so much. I really loved the climax and conclusion of the story, I am really looking forward to more.
