I'm so glad you're reading it! I hope you love it as much as me. Maybe you'll find some of the things I twisted into my stories. :)

I've read The Annotated Alice, which contains Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There, the original illustrations by John Tenniel, and annotations by Martin Gardner.

I need to read that one, Katie. I've read Alice's Adventures in Wonderland + Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There, but I'd love to see the annotated version, considering I use Gardner's surname for Alyssa's family. ;)

I really enjoyed reading it. I found his note on how the White Knight might be a caricature of Lewis Carroll especially interesting. He even said that the White Knight's sad farewell to Alice before she jumped to the 8th square might relate to how Carroll felt like he was becoming more distant from Alice as she grew up.

"
So cool! And very interesting, considering something I wrote in Ensnared without even knowing that tidbit. ;)

That makes me feel happy. I'm suffering from Post-Halloweenitus today, so tired, and I can't find Unhinged I think my father moved it and now I'm just happy....and sad. I hope everyone has a good day. I was going to be a midnight fairy for Halloween in Spirit of Splintered but I didn't end up doing that.
Next Job-Finding Phone.

My castume was the outfit that Alyssa when she went in Wonderland with Jeb... Except I decided to have fun with the make up and went overboard...
... I looked like Jack Skellington with blond hair.
Oops.

Aw, yay! You should share the link. I bet everyone here would like to see them. :)

Never thought of that. And these shoes make me happy aswell.

All of these are great (those tights look very Alyssa-esque and if the wings were white and jeweled, they'd remind me so much of hers--perfect shape) but those shoes are like WOW. Stunning! Thanks for sharing. :)

I Love them. I like the wings too. I don't picture them as costume wings more like a butterflies but as you said white and jeweled. I love the shoes because of the gold and black and the edgy but elegant look. The tights are to die for.
I just started to read the Moth in The Mirror Too.
Daily dose of Netherling.

Daily dose of Netherling. "
Haha. Yes, we all need a little of that. Hope you enjoy it! :)

List of Things to Do:
1) read Splintered novella
2) attempt NaNoWriMo
3) finish Splintered fan fiction by end of month

Really? Cool!!! I now I really wanna know!!!!

Meh, still sounds cool.

They looks really cool, especially the shoes.

They're the same shape as hers? Cool. I had a general shape in my mind, but now I can have a more specific picture of what her wings are like.

Anyhow, this thread is making my day :3
Especially since I'm so on and off, oh my goshhhhh someone forgive me.

I have a lot of other things I've been doing...
1. School
2. Homework
3. The Little Mermaid (FINALLY FINISHED OH GOD)
4. Homework
5. Closure of Yellow (updates verrrrrry slowly)
6. Homework
7. NaNoWriMo/Unnamed Project
8. Homework
9. Homework
I just left the school I was in for three years, and it was a private Jewish school. Not saying this is all private Jewish schools, but mine personally was awful. Teachers skipping class (literally not showing up for 30-40 minute periods), 5 flights of stairs to be climbed each morning, people who somehow believe the ghosts of nuns (no I am not kidding) haunted the school, and almost zero education in some studies.
We had no history.
Well, we had one year, but then I suppose it was dropped? The Language Arts teacher taught us Social Studies, but I found out everyone else had learned about Rome long ago, when it was scheduled, as opposed to me, who had only once opened a history textbook.
And I have an Early Civilizations class.
Not a good combo.
Anyway, I have some difficult things to juggle (including finally learning Japanese-Eep!), so I've been writing slowly and only when inspiration strikes.
Hopefully I can pick it up later, or at least coherently type out what's giving me writer's block.

Sending you *hugs*! That is a LOT for anyone! No wonder you've been so quite. Congrats on everything you have accomplished, though. Very impressive that you're still sane. Of course, even if you weren't, you'd fit in here. #MadlingsFTW ;)

Yay! So happy for you! Now, pet the precious and never let it go. LOL

I'm picturing you in a library frantically stacking books and the librarians being like, "WHAAAAAT?"
The book is in it's place of honor.

Thank you for that then

I took a world history class back when I was being home-schooled, as a result now more about Greek and Roman culture and civilizations then most of my class back then, and then I took a Western Civilization class in my first year of college, so I'd be happy to help you out. Also, I think it's awesome that you're learning Japanese, and I can see why it would be hard, since, unlike English, it's not Latin-based.

...
That was embarassing.
Unhinged was two books to my left...
IN THE 'M'S!
(*Major freaking out fest.*)
...
And I just reorganized it YESTERDAY.
(Sorry about all the caps, but the library needs to hire me. I'll do all their work for them.)

When did I say I was still sane~? >u>
Also @Katie they go pretty slowly, just learning the Hiragana (basically the alphabet/syllables) for now :)
I can type though so that's fun
あ。 じ。 はわど
^A. G. Howards <3
It's super easy to type- simply hit the keys of the transliteration
(In this case, I would type "a", then "ji", then "hawado" for the correct japanese pronounciation)
It autocorrects into the Japanese for you :3
All you have to do is click enter to confirm that spelling, or click space to see different ways to write it (like kanji, the picture characters that denote entire words).
...Basically as easy as flying XD

Sounds cool. I had wondering how things like keyboards for phones and computers worked in Japan, since they have a different alphabet and often a symbol=a word/syllable rather than a letter/sound.

LOL! I love that! That's awesome. Next time the Librarians leave jump on the opportunity!!!

I was actually incredibly confused too, because there are just so many kanji/hiragana/katakana.
Then I saw an anime where two characters had to look something up and I was like "oh. So that's how it works."
...So at least I had some vague knowledge. And then I downloaded the keyboard for some reason, so I got a chance to play around with it ^u^
