It could be 6 weeks before I get my copy, as I'm 2nd in line. But I enjoyed The Rosie Project so much that I have to read it.

I'm going to have to put this one off a bit longer. I had surgery on my eye a few days ago and I haven't been able to read very well since. It took me over an hour to read just 15 pages the other day and last night my eyes were too tired to read at all. I can't wait for my eyes to get back to "normal". Anyway, I need to slowly finish making my way through the book I have been reading before I pick up this one. I'll add comments when I get to it though.

I'm up to chapter 11 (view spoiler)[ Don moving apartments and setting up exactly the same - without telling Rosie - cracked me up! He took pictures and set up the same too. Funny!

However, I found the analysis, spreadsheet and thought process of what all needed to be considered into whether or not to have a baby most entertaining. Deciding to have children and wanting to become parents has so much emotion built into the decision, it was interesting to hear it through Don's fact-based and logical mind! (hide spoiler)]

Thanks! I look at a computer a lot at work, so my eyes are exhausted at night. I just need to be patient, which isn't easy. lol

I have just started reading this book and I must say how much I love Don. He is really sweet and trying to do his best to adapt with totally different world of Rosie's.

(view spoiler)[ Oh no, trouble in Paradise. Living with Don would have its issues but Rosie has hers too. It will be interesting to see how they sort it out no doubt Don will go to his default position of a spreadsheet and logical deduction. I'm guessing it will all work out in the end.

Finished it. I was worried (view spoiler)[ when there was talk of Rosie being in love with another man, WTH, but I thought there would be a reasonable explanation.

Overall I enjoyed it but not quite as much as the first.

Chapter 33

(view spoiler)[ I'm not sure what chapter I was on while listening to this book on the way home but I was chuckling so much at the chapter with Don participating at the fathers class he attended with Rosie. Poor Rosie was so embarrassed! But I'm kind of curious why she was upset by Don's behavior now when he has always been this way?? He's not changed... Just Rosie's views of him have changed..

Also - what is the deal with Rosie supposedly finding someone else?!! Wth??!!! She can't do that to Don!!

Don seems to be trying so hard to change so that he can be what he thinks a good dad should be... My heart breaks for him...

The other thing I found hilarious was how Rosie's friends thought Don was so cool and thought Rosie was the "nerd" and wondered how Don married someone like her. Don had obviously gotten pretty good at blending when he needs to.

That glass coffin is kind of freaking me out..

I'm almost 90% done and I don't like the direction the story has taken at all.
(view spoiler)[I'm so disappointed in Rosie's attitude and sudden fall out with Don for apparently no reason. They didn't even talk properly and Rosie never voiced her expectations to Don. She knows that he'll have difficulties to adapt with the new situation and the way he approached to her pregnancy couldn't be a big surprise for Rosie. (hide spoiler)]

I have to say I agree with Skandia - I was pretty disappointed in Rosie, but I love how Don's character has developed over the two books.

How has everything gotten so out of control? I really liked Don in the first book, and I could relate entirely to his character. This Don is like an exaggeration of the original.

I can't believe he would go so far as to have Sonia pretend to be Rosie and try to fool Lydia - keeping the entire incident secret from Rosie! I think the Don 1.0 would tell Rosie about it as soon as he got home from the police station, believing it was something very simple and easily handled.

Chapter 13. Oh this is just getting too convoluted. (view spoiler)[ I can't believe Don is in this mess as a suspected pedophile and to top it off is placed with Lydia of all people. And on another note, my daughter, a four year old, is asleep on the couch curled up with her new puppy - their first night together. It is so adorable.

The book is also making me a little sad at times. Chapter 26 (view spoiler)[ It is hard to see the distance between Rosie and Don growing and he is really trying so hard. And now for him to really believe his baby may be better off with him out of the equation - I just don't buy it. He is gonna be wonderful. He just doesn't know it yet, and it is sad that Rosie doesn't know this. Or does she? I don't really know her thoughts, after all, this is from Don' s POV. (hide spoiler)]

It is sad. Because Rosie had so much faith in Don, and he was fearless with her in the last book. I sometimes felt like I was reading about different people.
