Thanks - however, my profile is now showing the other Roy Humphreys (i.e. the one from the United Kingdom with a number of books)
I'm the Australian one with only one book (Patrick's Journey).

Hmm. Your book is here https://www.goodreads.com/author/show... and considering the info on the other profile (https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...) it looked like it was claimed already by the UK historian. We'll wait till rivka or somebody takes a look maybe.

If I change my profile name to include my middle initial - Roy T Humphreys - will that help ?

It would be Roy T. Humphreys, as Goodreads policy is for all initials in author names to be followed by a period. But if you prefer to use an initial to keep your profile separate from the other Roy Humphreys, that is fine.
