I know. I was appalled with that teacher!

Gah! I guess my previous spoiler was somewhat prophetic, Mara (view spoiler)

I finished! Real page-turner, especially toward the end. I liked how some things tied together, while others were left open. I was starting to like Noah more than Mara until he was all (view spoiler)

On the big twist (view spoiler)

Overall, I thought it was a good read for the month!

Zoe Cannon (zoecannon) David, that's what I liked best about it too! Normally I don't like creepy stuff, but the creepiness in this book hit the right note for me.

Well, I saw Noah's point, and he did turn out to be right anyways! I have to say, (view spoiler)

Laken | 3 comments I really enjoyed this book! I can't wait to read the next two. The minute I finished it, I logged in to my library account and placed holds on the other ones. I loved Noah, and I liked Mara too. Often in YA books the female characters whine too much and constantly do stupid things to annoy me by the end of the book, but Mara didn't. I agree that I want to see more of Jamie in the next books, although as much as I want to, I don't completely trust him yet. I just feel like something about him is off.

Yeah, I agree, I liked that about Mara. The only thing that annoyed me about her was the cliché (view spoiler)

Yeah, I didn't really get into the romance aspect, I was in for the creepy factor and mystery. Loved that part!

Laken | 3 comments I wasn't bothered by the sappy/cliche parts, but that's probably because I just finished reading Through the Zombie Glass, which was disgustingly sappy.
