Deleting a Book for me

I discovered I do not have superman powers. Bummer. I need some super Librarian or whatever it was to delete this book for me. Why? It's being republished under a different name and I want no association with it. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

We do not delete valid, published books. Goodreads it's like a library, all added books stay no matter if they are out of print, will be reprint under another name or whatever reason.

Message #2 on that thread is incomplete. As #4 on that thread says the existing author name would still be on the current editions AND the future ones as well. Contacting Customer Support is still your best option if your problem is the same one mentioned back then.
