Amelia Favour I chose this book because I wanted to read something in the fantasy/sci-fi genre and I had heard of the movie that came out in 2018. Overall, I thought the book was really good. The sci-fi elements like different planets, teleportation, and celestial beings (Mrs. Who, Mrs. Whatsit, and Mrs. Which) were all really interesting. I especially liked the descriptions of Camazotz and IT because the author did a good job at showing how detrimental conformity can be to society. A Wrinkle in Time begins when Meg Murray and her younger brother, Charles Wallace, are visited by a celestial being named Mrs. Whatsit. Before long they go to her cabin (along with a boy from Meg's school named Calvin), where they learn about IT, an evil being that has imprisoned several planets (including the one Meg's father is trapped on). They go on a quest to save Meg's father and defeat IT, which proves tremendously difficult but they succeed nonetheless. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes quality fantasy books.
