I worked late again so I didn't get any farther than that.

Book 3, Chapter 1-2: (view spoiler)

Up through chapter 6. Some questions and thoughts.
(view spoiler) Otherwise, loving it.

I have just finished the first 2 chapters and think I am going to enjoy seeing how "the boys" do in the big city.

today and I think it is probably my favorite so far. I just love the different relationships between all the main characters.

YAY! I should be able to start Thursday or Friday.

I also didn't expect there to be a lot of humor.

I am in love with this book and I can already tell it's going to be a 5 star book for me. I want to start the tv series soon.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

I also noticed that Henry is described as bigger and taller than Walt, but Lou Diamond Phillips has nailed his personality and speech. I think he's perfect for the role.
The books are so well done and I love that we get to hear Walt's inner thoughts. That's something that can't translate to screen. I've always enjoyed books more than TV shows, but I'm still a big fan of the Longmire show. So glad Netflix picked it up for another season!

I'm still doing these on audio. I've gotten used to the love scene jumping and the way Walt's thoughts sometimes interrupt a scene, like in the beginning: Kindness Goes Unpunished, book 3: (view spoiler)

That drives me nuts, too! It's pretty sad when the summaries have spoilers!

@Amanda: The Cold Dish
How far along are you now? I agree, it became a favorite series of mine from the very first book. I just love Walt and Henry. Such great characters!

I haven't been able to read much lately so I'm only at 75%. I read a big chunk of it last night.

I've also been watching the tv show in the evenings. It is really good and has become a favorite of mine, actually. The Walt of the book and the Walt of the tv show are so different! Book Walt is very silly and is constantly making me laugh. He had me at vacuum wrapped sheriff-burrito.
I love his "conversations" with Vic and the answering machine. :D["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

Amazing writing! I can't wait to read the next book.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

I'm 3rd in line for 1 copy for the audio and 2nd in line for 1 copy of the ebook.
