Srividya, I think that Germany in that time period is fascinating and terribly tragic. I think I just was so invested in "the boys" that I was agitated by any time spent anywhere except with their story. :)

I never thought about reading different books about the same time period to see how they match and how they are different. I clearly haven't spent a lot of time reading strictly history books. That's part of why I joined this group, to expand my reading interests a bit.
