Continuing my quest to get lesser known litRPG books more notice.

Why doesn't this one get more attention? What a great book. The MC, Alex, isn't overpowered (which many litRPG MCs are). She uses her brains to get ahead in the world. Low strength and spells, takes out creatures much stronger than her by outsmarting them.

That was a nice change of pace.

I also liked the urban fantasy aspects of the real world. An urban fantasy litRPG is something different. Allowed the MC to take what she learned in the game world out to the real world.

I had never heard (or read) The Hundred Halls before (but I will be now) and there is no prior knowledge needed to read this series.
