Wow, you're reading some old-school manga. :D
Welcome everyone. Sorry I'm a little late. Life gets in the way sometimes! I will get the participant list up to date as soon as possible. Good luck!

I'm not sure! I actually haven't read Fruits Basket yet & I wanted to read it first, but someone already checked it out at the library, so I went w/ this one that was also on the list. I'm glad to know you enjoyed Fruits Basket, though! Hopefully this one will be good, too.
Yeah! :D Looking forward to reading them. Haven't really read that many Shojo mangas yet.

Ow, I have just discovered this challenge (I am a bit new in this group and you have many interesting and funny things around ) but right now I am with a novel that is long and slow, so I don't think I can join this moths, are you doing this every month or do you plan to do this challenge again some time next year?
Oh, thanks so much. I think I voted in that discussion, but I thinkI didn't notice this one. I will pay attention for next time. Thanks again for the info ^^

For this challenge, we are encouraging you to branch out and try something new. However, rather than reading something entirely different, you'll be using a book you already love as a starting point. Like a tree, there are many ways you can choose to branch out:
STEP ONE:
Choose a book that you enjoyed reading this year or an all-time favorite. This is your "trunk."
STEP TWO:
On the right side of the Goodreads book page is a section called "Readers Also Enjoyed" and below that, "Genres." Decide which you would like to use to branch out.
STEP THREE:
Choose one or more books from the "Readers Also Enjoyed" or the list of books generated when you click one of the Genre Labels.
-OPTION 1: All books branch out of the "trunk" book.
-OPTION 2: Your books branch out of each other. Use the "Readers Also Enjoyed" or Genre Label List from your last book read rather than the "trunk" book after the first time.
Thank you to Kristin for creating this challenge. Lindsay will be leading this challenge.
