All great choices! I used to work for Borders Inc as well, I must say I miss it. If you read the Lynsay Sands books or Sherrilyn Kenyon, read them in order. You get so much more that way!
So glad to see you put book 1 of these series out there. That bugs me the most when I can't find the first book!!!!
Oh, good choices. What a fun job. I agree with Melissa, I hate when they don't have the first book in a series.
Totally wicked! Wish I had your job, LOL! I'm a bookaholic to begin with and paranormal/supernatural/fantasy is my fave genre. Oh, another suggestion: Kelley Armstrong
I work at a Barnes and Noble (in the kids dept) and doing displays is my favorite too. My suggestions: JR Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood or MaryJanice Davidson's Undead series.
I work a a Borders too (in addition to my office job)...just one day a week to support my reading habbit :) But more during the holidays and I love being there!!! Great choices...I am in the middle of another Rebecca York book...I think the frist in the Moon series would be a great addition...
Will be reading Kenyon, Ward and whatever else I can get my hands on. I could not work at a bookstore. I would never have a paycheck at the end of the week
The whole reason I still work there part time is just to support my reading habit! I have to read at least a little every day or I am not a happy girl!!! I am on the 3rd Sookie Stackhouse book now. Then I will try to tackle Dead Witch Walking again...
i'd love to work in bookshop or library::it'd be like heaven::Summer ::when you get to do more displays please please please include Adrian Phoenix *A rush of Wings*::
Summer, I wouldn't have your job for anything. I'd not only be broke--I'd probably be fired for excessive handling of the merchandise. :o) I'd probably wind up getting a second mortgage on my house or something. What can I say--an addict is an addict, and it doesn't matter if its drugs or BOOKS. (oohhh, jonesing for a "fix" now. But I have to finish basting together my oldest grandson's Jean LeFitte costume so I can do a fitting on it tomorrow.) That's the Jean LeFitte from the Andre Norton book "The Leopard in Exile" rather than the ordinary "boring" one from OUR history. :o)

Anyway, here's what I ended up choosing:
Dead Witch Walking--Kim Harrison
Touched by Shadow--Karen Chance
Dead Until Dark--Charlaine Harris
Tempting Evil--Keri Arthur
Upon the Midnight Clear--Sherrilyn Kenyon
The Accidental Vampire--Lyndsey Sands
***some Christin Feehan novel***
I haven't read the Feehan, Sands, or Kenyon, but I've heard so much. I'm hoping to change the section out fairly often, so keep the suggestions rolling!
