@Shae:
1. You can have a max of 10 points. Each letter, whether that is part of a word or not, is worth 2 points.
2. You may cross over the phrases, you do not need to stick to one line
3. They're classified as part of the initial points. So if you have 5 letters already, you can not claim any bonus points. I suppose this is handy for shorter titles.

So say a word your covering is 6 letters, can you still cover the whole word but you only get points for 5 of the letters (10 points)?
For Some reason i cant add anything with out the box turning gray so I dont know how I am going to do this. The gray is to hard to read what it is.
Courtney wrote: "Oh I didnt even realize is was in the title haha That helps."Yeah that's where all the colors come from. I color coded it so that at least the first word that appears of the specific ones will change different colors. I hit a snag with there though as it stars with 'the'. :/
If you want to see what everything will change to it's really easy. Highlight the book/author column and go to 'format'
Near the bottom you will see 'conditional formatting'
Click that and a box will appear on the right hand side. That's also where you can add more formatting and change any colors you need to. :)
Its okay. I just didnt understand why it kep turning gray lol. I think they just wanna be able to see what is being read for anyways so the color should matter. I think. I am on my phone so I dont think I can do all that.

So for
I can use the S twice, but since their isnt an open S for me to use I just made a note in the book column. Just wanting everyone to know.
Does anyone wanna buddy read
or
with me? We get max bonus points for both. Plus the second one also would get us two "U"'s for each person that reads it. So we wouldnt have to worry about "U" for awhile if a couple of us do it :)
So I found a book for 'Believe', but we would have to combine two books to reach the 200 page count. So if anyone wants to read
let me know. I will probably combine it with a 20 something novella considering it is 192 pages long.
Also I added all three books that I am starting on the first, but if thats an issue let me know and I will remove them :)

I can’t get either of those books Courtney :( the first 2 you mentioned. But I got the believe one on audio. So do I need to find a novella to read to make the page up?

Yes you do gotta find a short one in order for us to claim "believe". Do you wanna set a date or just do it whenever we are both open?
I'm just adding all my books that I plan to read in October to the ss, since they don't necessarily have to be completed in order.
@Ashleigh just letting you know only books with 200 pages or more can be used to claim letters. So you will also have to read a short story and combine it with
for The Monster of Elendhaven to count.

Yes you do ..."
I can do it whenever you like :) we can set a date or chat when we can fit it in. I’m easy with either. What works best for you? Are you a winger or a planner haha
I can do both, but with me having three books to start in the first I am going to vote to either wing it ir set it for the 8th or something.
Oh thank you Courtney, I read that the minimum page count was 200 page and it totally slipped my mind haha
This ss is looking rather messy XD It's hard to find where I can put my books as we've got random books for single letters everywhere XD But I don't have the energy to try and swap it. I think it's definitely better if we claim more than one letter at once, like in our titles, but I understand if it can't happen.
I've got to fit in Playing With Her Heart as well as Witch's Cauldron (starting all of them tomorrow).
@Courtney @Ash: Maybe take off your books that might take a while? Or more them to the next board? So we can complete phrases as fast as possible and it's easier to see what needs completing

Yeah will do, I was just adding books where I could yesterday, but I think I'll just make a note on my own tbr ss of what works for where
Just a suggestion, maybe we don’t even add books until we post?? That way there is nothing there except books that are completed and posted, therefore we can see what letters are needed before making a post? As we don’t actually need to take spots because all books count if they have the letters. But this way, nothing is showing except for what we have posted.
Thoughts?
Because it doesn’t matter if two people post for the same word/ letter. They can just be added to second round of phrases when posted if that makes sense?? No one is taking anyone’s letters etc so by only showing what is posted for, it can help us know what is needed to get bonus points.
I feel like we would get through quicker as when looked at the ss before posting we know what is needed. As opposed to people having spots on ss but not getting to them. We can’t visually see what is actually already done/ pending or not even started.
Yeah that sounds good to me Shae. It's just so much easier, and it's also easy to see what letters can be counted together etc.
And there's no reason to get upset if someone ends up posting for your letters because you can always wait until next phrase or count the book for something else :)
Hesitant to take off Serpent & Dove because it's got max points and it ticks off the 'VE' in BELIEVE which is pretty tricky XD But if it is as tricky as I think then it'll still be there when I read the book
I've taken all my books off the ss. I agree with Shae about posting when they're completed. @Maddie I think I've got a couple of books that work for VE too
I'm going to do audios next month as well, as last month I did basically none!
I tried looking up the books you had listed over on the Wanted BR thread Courtney but I couldn't find them :/

And these can only be from one of the three lines, not crossing over the three?
Are the bonuses eg. Published in September etc, extra bonus points, or are they classed in the 5 lots (10 total bonus points)?
