Yay the points are coming in now. Once a few off the outstanding reviews are posted we will complete a few boards which means extra bonus points. 80 points ahead for now.

Yeah they will. When choosing my next book I'm trying to pick the letters we need the most but I'm finding that most of my books have the same letters and we might need to add a few more boards.

That is fine. If you ever need to, just right click the latest number to copy it and then rename it with the next # in line. It is still points. :) Taglines I'll worry about more in another week or so if we are struggling to finish some. Don't forget though, that we can use other title editions for the bonuses. So we could use a Spanish, of French, German, etc. As long as it uses the English alphabet. So we might want to start looking at those soon.

Do you have any short story or novellas? You can ad it on to get the 200 pages. I know I’ll be doing that later this month. You can’t use the second book for letters but it would get us the bonuses for the first plus an extra pt.

Alright, finished my audiobook. Had a last minute project to do so didn't get to Windfall so I switched to that instead. Hoping to still get Windfall finished by tomorrow instead though. Sorry. But at least I got another book done. After Windfall, back to some more Manga.

Okay I have 9 more books that I have to read this month so I'll get them done and then I'll search my library for books to fill in missing letters. We have a few more boards complete once the people post their reviews. It seems we are lacking in E's and I's. At the rate I'm going I'll have about a week to read random books. We are getting a nice lead so hopefully we can maintain it.

We really do need I's.

I have some manga up and another audio book. Going to be a busy few days though. Then I have manga readathon this coming Sun/Mon. I'll be making a TBR for it Friday. I'll see what I can do for gaps, depending what sounds good. :)

How is everyone doing on their claimed books? Any changes? If you have decided to read something else, please take off your old book, let us know what you are reading instead. Also, please don't forget to post so we can flip taglines faster. Thanks! Communication is HUGE in a challenge like this. Remember this is a team challenge, not individual. We need to talk to work together.

Agreed. We could have another board bonus is people post. All it takes is one board bonus and we are playing catch up. That's the nature of these challenges they can all be flipped in a night.

Just letting everyone know I live in CA and in an area that might be affected by the PG&E power shutdown. So if I go quiet for several days that is why. Izzy, again I added letters to your book ( Ninth House by Leigh Barugo). You only took two yet had at least 10 letter options to easily get to just 5. PLEASE talk to us about what you are reading. Just posting the book is either costing us extra work to figure out what you did or we lose points!

I have 2 reviews but I'll post them tomorrow work is crazy and I'm almost brain dead for tonight. If it's not tomorrow then I'll do a bulk review at the weekend lol. Sarah's getting used to them now. For the Wheel challenge I posted about 15 reviews at once at the end of the month.

It all helps even just page points but like you said aim for the most out of each book.

Try not to do that if you can avoid it. Sarah has limited daily review posts if it becomes too common or if others complain a few times over the years. Not a big deal in fun but it can be in medium and will be in serious. We have several regulars that get upset with the unexpected jump. Feels like a blindside that you can't avoid vs staying competitive and pushing the other teams to try harder. A few books built up is no big deal but when you are talking about like 6+ at a time it doesn't always go well. Especially in this case with tagline and letter bonuses. Suddenly jumping up a couple hundred points last minute might discourage the other team.

Plus I like just keeping the lead. LOL

Lol it wont be that many this time and that was because we were keeping them for future boards but we never made it so I went for page points only. It'll only be 3 at the most. I did warn Sarah so she knew it was coming. I just don't have the energy tonight. Plus on this challenge if I save them up I'll probably pick the wrong books and get all the same letters so it's easier to do them as they come so we can see the gaps.

A few is never a problem. I think with that game it is a different thing due to the wait but there is less excuse on this one since we can have as many boards as we like. And a few days, even a week shouldn't cause trouble. Life happens :) We get busy.

Just what books you are reading so we can help maximize the points. We have all had books that we can only see a few letters but then others have seen more so we could get maximum points.

@izzy if you’d read the chat thread, especially where your name is mentioned, you’d see exactly what we need from you. I’ve tried several times to get book clarification. You’ve claimed letters we can’t even figure out how you are trying to use, not maximizing letter use and aren’t letting us know what you’ve claimed or how to get more points. If you are not going to work as a team member then you should go solo in the future. I’ve tried asking you several times here what is going on with no response. I shouldn’t have had to use the review thread. You need to read the chat thread here before posting: reviews or adding books to ss, respond when your name is mentioned. And if you can’t find spots using 5 letters let us know what you are reading and what spots you found so far so we can help. Only takes a few minutes. That is the basics of being on a team. If you do not do these things it shows that you don’t care about the team and how we do as a whole and if you don’t you shouldn’t be doing team in the future challenges really. And yes I am being blunt at his point because of how many times we’ve tried and your comment shows that you didn’t even bother reading the past few comments or that you just don’t care.
