We might have to use some The's for other T's depending how things look and what we can do. We'll see though. For now extra letters and max points each are good but if we start to struggle to close taglines we might have to sacrifice the occasional 2 pts. I have several The words too.

Mummy's Naughty Corner (mummysnaughtycorner) | 6951 comments Yeah that's what I was thinking too. I have some buddy reads to bump the points up and if a tagline gets closed the lost 2 points can mean an extra 60 points anyway. After I've finished this book I'll look at trying to close another tag line. We need 4 letters for the other two boards.

One team in the serious group already has over 100 points lol.

Mummy's Naughty Corner (mummysnaughtycorner) | 6951 comments He he my next book will do well. 3 More letters and all 3 taglines are finished.

Ritika Chhabra (justagirlhighonbooks) | 530 comments Hey guys, so I got done with my first book. The review will be up by tomorrow. My next one is Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami . Any help as to where to put it?

message 106: by María (new)

María | 2037 comments I'm going to read One Night: Promised by Jodi Ellen Malpas. I've already completed the spreadsheet.

Jamie | 12275 comments María wrote: "I'm going to read One Night: Promised by Jodi Ellen Malpas. I've already completed the spreadsheet."

I took you off the O for one and put you on another board for the entire word ONE. Left the other 2. This gets us further on a word and you 4 more pts. :)

message 108: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12275 comments Ritika, I put you on the last T of Trust (for the) and the O of No (for on). This will finish that tagline. :)

I also put you on the Re of There (using the re in shore), and the H in Truth (using Haruki)

Thank you so much! :D With so many people and so few things to cover, it's a little confusing. Haha.

It's very confusing but all you have to remember is that we can have as many boards on the go as we want so if you have more letters then use them as we get more points. Jamie seems to know what she's doing so she'll point out the extra ones we can't see lol.

message 112: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12275 comments Exactly :) The Board # is just for our reference to help flip taglines and keep organizes. We can even finosh a tagline with a mix of two boards with how the mods track it. It is all good. Biggest thing is finding the spots. I love that we can have multiple boards. It is so helpful. We might need to change our strategy in the second half to focus more on flips than letter count but I am not worried about that yet.
And yes, I will always try to help figure out ways to maximize our points. So if you ever can't fill all 5 spots Or if you just don't have the time to figure it out, let me know :)

Mummy's Naughty Corner (mummysnaughtycorner) | 6951 comments Okay I have added my next book and I have sorted out the letters in the books I want to read so I can fill gaps to complete tag lines better. I can get 5 points from a lot of my books but there are a few that are less so I'll leave them to last. I have also found a few books for the challenge but it depends on how many on my list I can read. I think we should quite easily finish the taglines at least twice if not more.

message 114: by Jamie (last edited Oct 03, 2019 01:54PM) (new)

Jamie | 12275 comments We also don't have to finish taglines equally. So we might finish one tagline 4x, another 2x and the other only once and that is okay too. It just depends how it plays out. Right now just trying to get an idea of how strong a team and how fast we all read. So far we are looking good I think. The real tricky will be the last week or two but no worries at all until then. Just read what suits you. I have learned I read best in an encouraging, active team. So you are a HUGE help to my reading right now. :) I also do better when I can focus on what I want vs stressing max points every turn. I read a lot slower when I plow through a less interesting book. So if you read a book that doesn't give all bonuses that is okay. :) This should be fun first.

Mummy's Naughty Corner (mummysnaughtycorner) | 6951 comments Don't worry I am having fun but for me I decided to check out the points so I'm not sitting there for ages trying to work them out. I have two weeks at work then a week off so that will mean more reading time.

message 116: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12275 comments Nice! I hope you enjoy your upcoming week off.

Sorry I must have missed that one. Yes! I added for the S on the spreadsheet. :) Nice catch!!

message 124: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12275 comments Hi Izzy :) I marked She Lies in Wait as read. The lines are shown on board 2. You can post whenever you get the chance to review.

Abby | 5404 comments I'm starting Nightmares and Dreamscapes now. Was only able to find an N and an S to claim. Can anyone see something else that can be used?

message 126: by Abby (new)

Abby | 5404 comments I'll still be able to get pretty good bonus points though. It meets several of the bonus categories.

message 127: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12275 comments Abby wrote: "I'm starting Nightmares and Dreamscapes now. Was only able to find an N and an S to claim. Can anyone see something else that can be used?"

by Stephen King? I'll take a look :)

message 128: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12275 comments Ok, so in addition to the two you have up I added you for A using And (for want) and RE (Nightmares) for there. So that gets you all 5 :)

message 129: by Abby (new)

Jamie | 12275 comments Posted my next review. Now focusing on Windfall which is a BR and 25% finished, and A World Without Princes is about 45% finished.

Mummy's Naughty Corner (mummysnaughtycorner) | 6951 comments Cool great job Jamie. Later today I'll get the review for unchained up and I'm 50% through The man without rules s hopefully I'll have 2 reviews up today.

Mummy's Naughty Corner (mummysnaughtycorner) | 6951 comments Caught up on my reviews and I'll have one more tonight. Getting very close to getting our first tagline. This is so addictive I'm like I need to read this one and get this letter lol.

Adriana | 3733 comments Can't I add an A with my book as well? What word should I add with my review?

EDIT: I added the A in Want. If I need to change that back let me know (:

My next book is A Crack in the Line (Withern Rise, #1) by Michael Lawrence .

Mummy's Naughty Corner (mummysnaughtycorner) | 6951 comments On the spread sheet you have 5 letters which is the maximum you can have per book you are down for I (I), L (believe) HE (there) T (There).

I know A is the obvious one for your book but we already have 4 A's and there is only one on all three boards so the other letters are needed more.

Please change your review as this gives us maximum points and letters from your book.

Correct, I made the request in the review sheet just in case as well :) We need those E's covered a lot more than the A's. Tose will be easy. :)

For a Crack in the Line I got you on the I (in) for is, Li (line) for believe, and Ne (line) for One. So we got another 5 there. :)

Lol I'm trying. I've posted 3 reviews today I'm hoping to get 2 more done this weekend and then I have a br for Monday so that's extra points there. Sounds like a good plan it's easier to stay on top then to play catch up.

I know it's very confusing. You can use parts of words if they fit too. So much to remember that I don't catch them all either.

Don't worry Adriana it's still early days. I'm just boring at the moment and have lots of time to read.

message 150: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12275 comments Ritika, if you can post your review for "For One More Day" we can finish a tagline on the MODs end of things. :)
