Ooh, really? That really helps out by not having to wait to post a review.

Mummy's Naughty Corner (mummysnaughtycorner) | 6951 comments Well it's the first and I'm ready. I love it when the first falls on my day off. I like to get a strong start. I'm struggling to get buddy reads set up I have about 15 books that I have to read for the month and a few more if I get time. Yet I only have 5 br's. I will continue to try to get more sorted out for the month. That's where I fall short I can read plenty of books but always get beaten by people with br's.

Mummy's Naughty Corner (mummysnaughtycorner) | 6951 comments Izzy I changed the spread sheet slightly. You put your book down for the W in want with the word wait but you can actually use it for the WA as they both start with WA it means one more letter.

message 55: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12275 comments Izzy, be sure to comment here too so Sarah and Abby can check you in. :) I also see a few moves on the SS to get you (and therefore us) a lot more points with both your books. Do you mind if I make and adjustment to the one and additions with the other?

Also, to everyone, I think if we see a way to get up to the 5 letters ifsomeone didn't take all 5 spots I think it might be easiest to just move them as needed. I have 3 boards made and since we can re-use the same letters at any pace it can't hurt. Does anyone object? The SS isn't even needed with that rule. Just there so we can be sure we are finished taglines and not leaving them too open. More a gently guide. And don't forget you can use a mix of all the boards to max out your letters.

If I don't hear anything in the next couple days, I will assume we are all good.

Mummy's Naughty Corner (mummysnaughtycorner) | 6951 comments I'm good with that Jamie. Makes sense too as I know I get focused on letter and miss them so extra eyes is always helpful for me.

Great catch. I see one more if we move She Lies in Wait by Gytha Lodge from I to the TH on truth/ Since if we are using 2 or more letters together the can be in the middle of words. Hopefully we'll hear back from her here.

message 58: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12275 comments Also, if you repeatedly see Tail of the moon up, it is a manga series that I am reading. So every 5 you see go to together. :)

message 59: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12275 comments Abby, would you mind adding the SS with the other links? So those who want to use it can easily?

Abby | 5404 comments Jamie wrote: "Abby, would you mind adding the SS with the other links? So those who want to use it can easily?"

Can you post the link here so I don't have to scroll through our thread to find it?

message 62: by Abby (new)

Abby | 5404 comments Okay added

message 63: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12275 comments Abby, if you move the E off One, you can use Everlost for the EVE in believe (now that the spelling was corrected. Thanks!) covers 2 more letters and gets you 4 more points. :)

Mummy's Naughty Corner (mummysnaughtycorner) | 6951 comments Ok I've finished my first book. I've added my second so far I can only see 4 points over 2 boards if you want to check if you can find a better fit that's fine.

We can use partial words? Didn't realize that!

Yes as long as the letters are in order. So your EVE for ever is perfect. If it is in the title/author name we can even use the middle or end of words too as long as there are 2 or more in order.

message 67: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12275 comments Mummy, I added the N in Want on the 2nd board. :) You can use the An of Andrews together. :)

message 68: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12275 comments Okay, I am moving a few things to max points for us all. :)

message 69: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12275 comments Anything on the ss that has an *** means those letters go together. So we can't just move one of them.

message 70: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12275 comments Okay, I think that is it. Abby, I moved yours to Eve, Izzy I moved several of yours but you can now get max bonus points for both.
If anyone has questions for what I say to get these combos, just ask :)

message 71: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12275 comments Great job finishing your first book Mummy!

message 72: by Jamie (last edited Oct 01, 2019 10:46AM) (new)

Jamie | 12275 comments In addition to my 2 claimed spots I am also listening to A World Without Princes (The School for Good and Evil, #2) by Soman Chainani but that might take awhile (or not I never know with audio books). And reading The Princess and the Fangirl (Once Upon a Con, #2) by Ashley Poston as well. I should get a fair amount of reading in this week. :)

Cool good job. Sorry I'm trying to make sure I get them right.

message 75: by Adriana (new)

Adriana | 3733 comments I'm reading I Am Apache by Tanya Landman first.

Mummy's Naughty Corner (mummysnaughtycorner) | 6951 comments This is going to get confusing when it comes to reviews. I hope Sarah has a good system.

message 77: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12275 comments I saw how she is doing it and it is similar to a past challenge. Our mods are amazing at keeping things together!

Mummy's Naughty Corner (mummysnaughtycorner) | 6951 comments I know they are amazing, it's not a job I would want lol. I'm going to post my review in here first if you don't mind checking it to make sure I did it right. As I'm the first I have nothing to go by.

message 79: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12275 comments Sure. Yes if there are questions on posting we can help each other

Mummy's Naughty Corner (mummysnaughtycorner) | 6951 comments Death Whispers (Death, #1) by Tamara Rose Blodgett

Bonus: R in trust, T in want, B in believe, IS in this
Tagline: Trust in no one, I want to Believe, The truth is out there.
Review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Pages: 441 pages https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

message 81: by Jamie (last edited Oct 01, 2019 11:38AM) (new)

Jamie | 12275 comments Fix Is in Is (not this)
I would do it like this for the bonus line just in case:

R (Rose) in trust, T (Tamara), B (Blodgett) in Believe, & IS (from within Whispers) as Is

message 82: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12275 comments Adriana wrote: "I'm reading I Am Apache by Tanya Landman first."

I added a few more spots on the SS for this over the first 3 board sets. Now set for max points. :)

message 83: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12275 comments Moved my E from there to believe. That will finish the one tagline, plus someone can maybe take an RE combo (or just the e again).

One full tagline covered!!

message 84: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12275 comments Ok, enough from me on here for a bit. Got sit reading to do and then cleaning and audiobook reading as well. Be back on later!

message 85: by Adriana (new)

Adriana | 3733 comments Sweet! Thanks Jamie (:

Mummy's Naughty Corner (mummysnaughtycorner) | 6951 comments Okay I missed this so highlighting in case anyone else did too. If you can get 5 letters r a word out of your book check for these for bonus points too.

★ You can also earn +2 bonus points if your chosen book is written by someone, or who has a main character who is called 'Dana', 'Fox', 'Scully', or 'Mulder'.

★ You can also earn +2 bonus points if your chosen book was first published in 1993 (the year X-Files was first aired).

★ You can also earn +2 bonus points if your chosen book was first published in September of any year (the month X-Files was first aired).

★ You can also earn +2 bonus points if your book is tagged 'Sci-fi' within its first 20 tags.

The number of bonus points is still capped at 10 points though, no matter how you earn those points. You cannot claim a word or 5 letters, and also claim these bonus points.

Yep. The letters are better as they help finish taglines but if we cannot get 5 letters, this might help.

Jamie | 12275 comments Ritika wrote: "Oh guys, here I am. Sorry for not checking in sooner! So what have I missed?"

Glad you made it. :) We are picking our first 1-2 books, depending how fast you read and post. Let us know what you are reading and we'll help you find letters or you can do it for yourself on the SS. (linked in the first comment).

Mummy's Naughty Corner (mummysnaughtycorner) | 6951 comments Okay my next book is up. Over board 1 and 2 I can only get 4 letters and no bonus points. Change it if you can get more from it.

message 91: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12275 comments Looks like it is up for 5 letters. :) I did move it off Th over to Ne (for one) as I think The as an entire word will come up often (especially for me lol).

message 92: by Jamie (last edited Oct 02, 2019 11:06AM) (new)

Jamie | 12275 comments Mummy you are on FIRE! Great job! I should mo have my Tail of the moon finished tonight and hopefully posted. I squeezed Princess and the Fangirl onto the sheet as I am 1/2 through that and likely will be finished in the next day or two. And also reading Windfall. I have some major house rearrangements to do but I also have the next few couple days off for good reading.

message 93: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12275 comments We need more books read with T's especially everyone.
My next Tail of the Moon set (after I finish at least 2 other claims) I can cover 2 of them but titles with a T can come in handy for this challenge. There are a lot of them to repeat through.

Hey! So I'm reading For One More Day by Mitch Albom and I think it will help me earn 3 points for "ONE" from "Trust No One". I'm not sure about anything else yet. :(

I got you added for one. Also for "re" for There (using the word MoRE)

Jamie | 12275 comments María wrote: "Hello! I'm checking in!"

Glad you made it! Please Let us know what you are reading or mark spots in the SS. :)

Mummy's Naughty Corner (mummysnaughtycorner) | 6951 comments I have tons of books set for this month with The in. 5 to be exact lol. Not so many Single T's but I have a week off at the end of the month so hopefully I can pick some more books. I'm just lucky that I've had a lot of time over the last few days but at the moment I'm averaging around 20 books a months.

Mummy's Naughty Corner (mummysnaughtycorner) | 6951 comments Oh yeah I also have 2 books that will do a whole word which I'll be fitting in. I found them last night. By the looks of the ss I think we'll do well. As you said once the books are read we have a tagline already.
