Amber Martingale Hi, Tammy. Normally, I do this on another thread, but I think I'm running out of computer time for the day. Your "Welcome to the Family" URL is Royal Guardsmen - Snoopy Vs. The Red Baron: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oxzg_...

Hi

Please if you are happy here, go to a important thread in general called "What Makes This Group/Club Your Home"

Started by two lovely ladies who are writing a book called "Book Social".

Our group has come out as one of the very best with high praise from a survey.

So they want to know what our success is.

Lee | 33 comments I joined Goodreads in 2012 and have to say this is my favourite group. The atmosphere is very friendly and it is great developing friendships with other avid readers. I love that we can all share our thoughts and views on the books we read and it also opens up new opportunities to read books we may not have come across or heard about before. Also a big thank you to Sean, I appreciate your time in assisting us when we have questions.

Clare | 2 comments This group seems great! I'm 15, an aspiring author, and just starting out on Goodreads- does anyone have any thriller recommendations? I've only read The Girl On the Train and Luckiest Girl Alive so far. Help would be very much appreciated :)

tonya_with_an_o | 2 comments I'm relatively new here, just wondering about the PFIM or PIFM, I'm not sure of the abbreviation, but I think it's how you pick the group read of the month? Is there a link to the discussion about how to vote and all about that?

message 120: by Sean, Moderator (new)

Hi

Yes, Janet looks after this.

On our home page there is three topics for "Pick It For Me"

1/ post where you list 10 books on your bookshelf/kindle that you want to read.

2/ Here members pick a book that you want that person to read that month.

3/ Then there is a chat topic, where you chat about your choices, your picks.

In the chat topic, many regular members will help you, so just join in many will help, good luck and welcome

Sean

Hi All, Just read the book, thoroughly enjoyed it. I had to concentrate and believe I understood most of it, but it was still complicated and can't find anything [from Googling] about the 'ending explained' just to tie everything up in my own mind. PLEASE would someone concisely explain the ending with the characters? E.g. did Dennisov betray Tom Fox or was that the Grandfather of the young Dennisov, bit confused!? Thanks
