We need to have a 'Free to a Good Home' type things for books we want to give to good homes. I have quite a few ARe books (M/F) just taking up space in my library but I don't want to delete them if someone would like them.

In the new year, we should pick a SM book for one of our groups and do a buddy read.

I've been wanting to try MM for the longest time and I've gotten some great recommendations but when I try to find them on my own, I seem to only find the 30-40 page books that take like 20 minutes to read. any recommendations on where to actually find the longer books? and any authors I should look out for?

May I suggest some books by Josh Lanyon, such as Fair Play or Adrien English or Holmes & Moriarity series. That is if you also like some mystery solving stories.

You can always look on the website for the publishers like Dreamspinner or Riptide who usually have a best sellers category and will tell you if it is a novel or a short. Or just ask out here for a particular type of book. You've got a lot of m/m readers in the group!

As for authors depending on what genre you're looking for, off the top of my head I would also suggest Kaje Harper, Heidi Cullinan, Amy Lane, ZA Maxfield and KC Wells as most of their books are novels.

I had the same problem for the first few years until I found MMR group and saw so much more books than I had ever thought there could be. For some reason most of the books I found through publishers emails were shorts or novellas, and I wanted to read novels. Now that want to read novellas I tend to find only novels. =P

My fav mysteries are Infected series: Prey, Pressure Head and A Reason To Believe. All are paranormal mysteries as I like my mysteries with a twist. =)

Harper Fox is also a very good author. She has some shorter ones but some are definitely longer than 40 pages and if you go on ARe (All Romance e-books) you can sort by the number of words so that might help as well.

ARe is ebook format; you need to go to your library there and download the format for your Kindle.
They usually have some formats in epub, mobi, pdf and prc; but you have to check there.

I think they also carry some books in paperback format as well but I'm pretty sure they would have asked you to confirm the shipping address and the price probably would have been an indicator as well.
