Just started reading Hogfather by Terry Pratchett. Always nice to come back to his unique sense of humor after some time away.

I just finished The Last Letter by Rebecca Yarros a few days ago. There was this heart-wrenching plot twist at the end I didn't see coming and really knocked me sideways. I still like the book, though. Rebecca Yarros can definitely write. Now reading Icebreaker by Hannah Grace. So far, quite a nice light read.
Just finished reading the 4-book
Divergent
series by Veronica Roth for the second time.Although the basic storyline remains the same, the differences in character personality and physical descripton, sequence of events, and ending allows those who have seen the movie version to thoroughly enjoy and often be surprised reading the original books.

I’m reading a book called Pretty Little Killers: The Truth Behind the Savage Murder of Skylar Neese by Daleen Berry
I read The Dance Tree by Kiran Millwood Hargrave. The setting is a European village near Strasbourg in the early 16th century. Women start dancing non-stop and are subsequently persecuted by the city council. I thought the setting was well done but character development was a little simplistic. I didn't think the novel was as good as The Mercies by the same author.

Just finished the incredible Peter Straub novel Koko. Back to reality now with Kellerman's Milo and Alex D., this time in Motive.
According to an email from 'Goodreads' I have just finished reading "The Keeper of Happy E0ndings" This is news to me. And I note that, according to the list of 'my books', there are some 40 other books listed as either read, or currently being read by me. I am not to sure what kind of scam this is, but I have not read any books recently. I deleted a previous list of books that I had read, as I was informed by another goodreads user that I had recommended some of these books to her - which I most definitely did not. I think this is scandelous.
Can someone at Goodreads give me an explanation?
The Insanity Of Everyday Lifeget for free on amazon leave a honest review im still new and would like the truth please

Just read Curse of the Pharaohs by Elizabeth Peters - reviewed - https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/5469457152
Currently reading Home Front by Kristin Hannah. Slow to start and about 1/3 of the way through and hoping it speeds up as I am a huge fan of Kristin Hannah’s other books and hope this one meets the standard.
I just finsished reading the 1st. book of George R.R. Martin's Game of Thrones series titled A Game of Thrones and have begun the 2nd. book titled A Clash of Kings. This is actually the 3rd. time for me reading the series. It has been 10 years since the 5th. book of the originally intended 7-book series was published and Mr. Martin has yet to publish the final 2 books, so I doubt that they will be forthcoming. I did watch the TV Series based upon the books. The producers created their own final installments and ending. Whether or not it was based upon the one originally intended by George R.R. Martin we may never know.
I’m still reading the complete Romantic poets; also Firestars Quest (for research purposes) and Russka by Rutherfurd.
The Vacuum of Space by Julia Huni. Offbeat approach to space-station life from the POV of a janitor. And a murder mystery thrown in as well as a dreamy, sexy investigator. The Vacuum of Space
Just finished The Way Station by somebody Simak. Written in the 60's and apparently a best seller. A lot of philosophising and very little sci fi. I found it a hard read.
Finished rereading "Travels with Charley," and "A Canticle for Leibowitz" in the last couple of weeks. They both seem to have held up well. Currently rereading; Player Piano by Kurt Vonnegut, which also seems to be holding up well.Am about halfway through Babel by R.F. Kuang, MPhil, MSc. She is doing a PhD in East Asian Languages now according to the author description at the back of the book. interesting story not sure where it is going...yet. Cerebral rather than bang, bang shoot em up, but enjoyably so.
