A.G. Fleury | 16 comments I just finished reading Phantoms by Dean Koontz. It's a horror novel about the discovery of a small California town(population 500) where the inhabitants are missing. That's how the story starts anyway. Suspenseful and creepy. If you're into that genre, I highly recommend this book.

Belynda Thomas (belyndawilsonthomas) | 76 comments I'm reading All That We Are Heir To by Laura Lyndhurst. This is the third in her Criminal Conversations trilogy. I meant to get it read earlier but I was so busy getting my second novel Secrets and Sorrow published I couldn't take time away to read a novel. I am really enjoying reading her books. Her other books in the trilogy are Fairytales Don't Come True and Degenerate, Regenerate

A.G. Fleury | 16 comments Hello writers and readers!

Recently, I finished reading Jaws by Peter Benchley. I gave it a 4-star rating because I enjoyed it and thought the story was well written. In regards to the contents within the story, I believe a few things could have been left out. I don't believe in giving away spoilers when I review a book so let me just say the following: 1- The drama associated with Mrs. Brody could have been omitted. It interrupts the flow of the story.
2- The drama associated with Amity's mayor could have been omitted as well for the same reason.

The final showdown between Chief Brody and the shark was less dramatic compared to the movie adaptation. Once again, no spoilers.
Would I recommend this book to anyone...especially people who've seen the movie several times??? Definitely!

Thank you for reading!

Al
