I just finished reading Phantoms by Dean Koontz. It's a horror novel about the discovery of a small California town(population 500) where the inhabitants are missing. That's how the story starts anyway. Suspenseful and creepy. If you're into that genre, I highly recommend this book.

Dared to Return by J.J. Clarke is free tomorrow. The book is part cozy, part revenge fantasy. You might check it out. Thanks!
I’m reading marketing books this month. It’s like homework.
I'm reading All That We Are Heir To by Laura Lyndhurst. This is the third in her Criminal Conversations trilogy. I meant to get it read earlier but I was so busy getting my second novel Secrets and Sorrow published I couldn't take time away to read a novel. I am really enjoying reading her books. Her other books in the trilogy are Fairytales Don't Come True and Degenerate, Regenerate
A big thank you to Belynda Wilson Thomas for reading my trilogy. I have her latest book downloaded and will be reading it soon. I'm looking forward to it.
Recently finished ‘the Promise’ - the 2021 Booker prize winner by Damon Galgut, and on the last pages of ‘The Lightkeeper’s Wife’ by Jaren Viggers - hope to finish it in the weekend.
I just ordered and received Kite Runner. I am excited to start that book. I know it isn't a new release, but I have seen so many praises sung about this book that I now have to read it. :)
Just finished The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides & have begun The Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton.
Hello writers and readers!Recently, I finished reading Jaws by Peter Benchley. I gave it a 4-star rating because I enjoyed it and thought the story was well written. In regards to the contents within the story, I believe a few things could have been left out. I don't believe in giving away spoilers when I review a book so let me just say the following: 1- The drama associated with Mrs. Brody could have been omitted. It interrupts the flow of the story.
2- The drama associated with Amity's mayor could have been omitted as well for the same reason.
The final showdown between Chief Brody and the shark was less dramatic compared to the movie adaptation. Once again, no spoilers.
Would I recommend this book to anyone...especially people who've seen the movie several times??? Definitely!
Thank you for reading!

I’m looking for a suggestion in Audiobooks. I like Michael Connelly and John Grisham, but willing to try something different.
I just finished Dragon Ore
which is the third book in a fantasy trilogy. A worthwhile read with some twists that make it unique.
I am just finishing a second reading of Frank McCort's autobiographical novel, Tis. McCort is also the author of Angela's Ashes, another Irish American noel based upon his life and family. I would recommend these books to anyone with an interest in families, Ireland, the immigrant experience, the early 20th century, and overcoming one's self-doubts.
