I'm currently reading a holiday romance from a new author to me, Willa Nash. The Naughty, The Nice and The Nanny. Book 1 in a Christmas Trilogy.
I am currently reading and editing my book, Regardless of The Consequences for the umpteenth time. Do you ever finish editing ????
Editing can go on forever, to the point that you never publish the book. After a while you just need to say "this is it!" and send it in. I could re-edit every one of the 74 books I've had published over the past nearly 40 years, but you just have to face the fact that enough is enough.
Hi all! Good to e-meet you ;)I am a debut author, and I am looking for more friends on GoodReads. Feel free to add me ;)
My book is Normal Weird.
The humanity of the 22nd century is evolving into something else.
Who is normal? And who is weird?
What if it is the other way around?
What if the irreversible change is already here?
The idealistic professor Daniel Stein finds proof that his genetic mutation is the new stage of human evolution and declares his findings to the world. However, Daniel is yet to realise that true self-acceptance comes from within.
Daniel’s perfect vision is challenged when he meets illogical and emotive Maria.
‘SAPIENS meets BLACK MIRROR’Normal Weird: Spellbinding and Provocative – The UPGRADE may already be here…

I agree! Every time I reread one of my works, I can see something I should have done, said or punctuated differently, but you just have to let it go! But 74 books! I salute you!!

I just finished reading the Kate Daniels book series by Ilona Andrews, as I have a thing for shapeshifter romance novels.I generally try to read a book every week, and I think I will catch up with the Halo books starting next week.
I've just finished To Bee: A Budding Beekeeper’s Book: Beginner to Beekeeping? Discover How to Start Your First Hive in Your Own Backyard. Harvest Your Own Honey and Have Fun Doing It!If you're already growing your own vegetables to be more self sufficient, here's another idea.
You could also be contributing to the revival of the bee population which has scarily been in decline recently which means bad news for mankind.
I live in too urban an area to be honest and I wouldn't want a lawsuit from an angry neighbour whose child has been stung or who's found a bees nest in their attic.
However it's a fascinating read, and if you have the time and the space, you may just be tempted to try this.
The Dutch House.God bless, and stay safe.

It took several weeks of intermittently dipping into it while reading a few other books in between, but I finally finished the 700 page The Annotated Arabian Nights: Tales from 1001 Nights, translated by Yasmine Seale and edited by Paulo Lemos Horta. This stunning tome provides a wealth of information, its pages adorned with beautiful illustrations. It is a volume to be read slowly, savored, and enjoyed.

Murder In Absentia by Assaph Mehr - reviewed - https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/4356135379
ON ANIMALS, by Susan Orlean, a self-confessed animal lover, is a lively "take" on the animals in our midst, from backyard chickens to a New Jersey tiger-lady who wards off neighbors and lawyers as the big cats multiply in her fenced property right next to a new subdivision.
I favorite chapter details the show dog, Biff, a champion boxer, especially gripping to me because my French bulldog, Velvet, is a purebred. She "shows" as a character in my new mystery series set in Gilded Age 1898, starting with "A GILDED DEATH."
I read Mile High with a Vampire and Pathway to Freedom Broken and Healed: How a Seeing Eye Dog Retrieved My Life Second Edition. Both were excellent reads for different reasons.
I've been reading a lot of kindle vellas. Here's some of the best ones.https://www.amazon.com/kindle-vella/s...

Hi.
I don't know how you count how many books that you have read.
Are we counting from the day we joined Goodreads, or are we counting from that first book we ever read??
The first book that I fell in love with was The Biggest Bear. I was in elementary school. I checked it out of the library over and over. So I can't tell you how many books I have read only what I am reading now.

The people counting books are counting how many they read this year for the Goodreads yearly challenge. But really it doesn't matter how many you've read, regardless of when you're counting from, since it's the pleasure in the experience that really matters, whether you're on your third book for the year or have read a few hundred already. Yes, I do the challenge each year, but I don't worry that much about how many books I read, instead just enjoying the reading experience, and focussing on what the book is rather than what number book it might be for me this year. That would be my advice to anyone, whether you're the kind of person who reads three books a year or three hundred: just enjoy the reading experience, and appreciate the book for what it is.
Liam McPhee and The Thief of Laughter a young adult fantasy novel by Mevangeline on Amazon.mevangeline.com
A refreshingly original story.
I read The Last Hours by Minette Walters. The novel is the first in a historical trilogy about the Black Death in 14th Century England. The research was impressive, but the characters were flat and the pacing dragged. A little disappointing.

I read The Horn's Hoax, which was a good book, but didn't reach its full potential. I did enjoy it enough I'm eager to continue the series though, and if you don't mind cliffhangers you might enjoy it more.
I am into reading now my 99 book of math. Lmao I work on writing few essays in same time. Its not easy to do. I need to have alot of time and wish to imrove writing skills. I prefer to use sometimes https://writingcheap.com/ for myself. And few tips from my teacher Albert Einstein said, “If you can’t explain it to a six-year-old, you don’t understand it yourself.”
I finally finished the abridged version of Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire by Gibbon. Took over a year to do but I didn't pick it up every day.

Hello! I'm currently reading Dark Paradise by Tami Hoag. It's a mystery about a woman who is a court reporter living in a small Montana community who dies in a hunting accident. Her best friend(also a court reporter) goes there to see her only to find out she's been dead 10 days. She sticks around to try to find out what really happened only to discover things that puts her life in danger. So far, this story is interesting. It's the first book I'm reading from this author.

Congratulations. Now you have to face the task to promote it. Create a website. Build a following on facebook, twitter, and instagram, etc. Get some critiques. Decide if you are going to only put it out as an ebook, or print. Wait-don't forget audible, some people listen rather than read. Oh, by the way, you need to get started on that next novel. Step it up girl, you're falling behind as you take time to read this. Keep writing.
