Hello! My name is Kristofor Hellmeister, and I was wondering if I could have the honor of being reviewed by you? Thanks!
I am just reading Hollow World by Michael Sullivan. So far it's good, though not amazing or anything.
I don't even remember when I last updated you on what I've been reading, so I'm just going to start again from now.I recently finished Anarchy by Charles Yallowitz, which is an excellent vampire fantasy adventure I gave five stars to. Now I'm reading Dragonfall by David Estes.
I've just finished a book that I quite enjoyed:
And for those who are interested, here is my review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Just finished reading David Baldacci's "A Gambling Man." Great stuff.Stay well, everyone, and God bless.

I just finished Ascendant by Michael Miller. Dragons usually aren't my thing, but this was completely enjoyable and entertaining from start to finish.https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...
I finished my 192nd book.
I am working on my blog so once that's up and running, you can check them, I don't always review on goodreads because I ramble too much

Read that last year. I think I liked it although it was pretty involved. I liked his other book, 'The Name of the Rose' somewhat better.
I'm currently reading Gods of Jade and Shadow by Silvia Moreno-Garcia and totally enjoying it. I'm 75% done and it's on the way to becoming one of my favorite reads of 2021.
I'm in a cozy mystery phase of reading, and have been working my way through the Miss Fortune mysteries. Just finished
and started
I just finished The Madness of Crowds
and enjoyed it a lot. Gamache mysteries are always good reads.
well m currently reading 'The 3 mistakes of my life ' by Chetan Bhagat and it's quite an interesting book
Reading Margaret Millar's "The Listening Walls." I thought her suspense novel "Beast in View" was quiet unsettling and well done, so I'm trying a few more of her works.Millar was the wife of Kenneth Millar (who wrote the Lew Archer novels under the pseudonym of Ross MacDonald) She was one of the woman writers of he mid-20th century, a group that includes Vera Caspary, Patricia Highsmilth, Doris Miles Disney.
Since I was on here last, I finished David Estes' Dragonfall and got a chunk of the way through the next book in the series, Magefall.
I just finished reading
and it was a brilliant end to an amazing series. I am definitely looking forward to the spin off series coming next year.
I read The Manningtree Witches by A.K. Blakemore. An atmospheric plunge into the 1640s in England. Civil war is raging, and destitute, elderly women are hunted and executed as witches. Blakemore's diction is detailed and evocative. Replicating the idioms of 17th century England, it is replete with graphic descriptions, pungent odors, and immersive imagery.

Currently reading The Dictionary of Lost Words, by Pip Williams, after finishing Seven Days in June, by Tia Williams, for which I left a review on Goodreads.
I am reading SONGBIRD by the very talented author Gail Meath. A fun cozy mystery set in 1923 New York.
I am reading the whole box set of The Renegade Star and I love these stories. They are pure space opera with Jace and Abby almost getting attracted to each other as they get caught up hunting for the old myth of a world call Earth. Of course they have all kinds of bad guys after them as the loner Jace finds himself taking on a crew, one more and then another and then more. Fun, fighting and getting by with tricks. Lots of page turners. I am in book four of the six in this set and am very happy.
I'm reading Station ElevenIt was given to me (well traded to me) by a friend from my book club. She knew I liked dystopian/alternate reality sort of books. Haven't gone far in it yet as I've been busy so I haven't hit any of that yet but so far it's good. :)
I've finished a book called 'Deep Fried and Pickled'
I enjoyed this book - had quite a college feel to it. For those who enjoy this type of book, try picking it up. Here is my review of the book: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Finished Margaret Miller's "The Listening Walls," and read her strangers-snowbound-in-a-remote-manor mystery "Fire Will Freeze." Neither was up to the standard of "Beast in View," and "Fire Will Freeze" was pretty bad, actually.
Tether by Christen Notrelle. It's about a psychopath called Natalia whose questionable tendencies are being prevented by a chip implanted in her brain by her neuroscientist father when she was a child. Her chip is wirelessly tethered to her sister's chip as a safeguard. Natalia hunts down other criminals for her father's company with her sister and friends. The story is interesting as it has the reader cheering on people that would normally be considered the baddies. The main character is likeable until she glitches and then she's not someone I'd want to meet. I read somewhere the sequel is coming out soon. I'll buy it.

The Ming Storytellers by Laura Rahme. Entirely drawn in from the first chapter. So glad a Twitter friend recommended it :) I picked it up both for research purpose and for entertainment. One thing that attracted me is that the main character is the renowned Ming navigator Zheng He.
Finished a short fiction collection by Peter Straub, Houses Without Doors and reviewed it - https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/1840410802
I am currently reading "A Tale for the Time Being" by Ruth Ozeki and "Underground Railroad" vy Colson Whitehead.
I just finished reading Life’s Not Yoga by Jacqui Burnett. I’ve enjoyed reading this inspiring book and so happy to be part of this group to share more on amazing reads!
Since my last update, I finished Magefall, which was an awesome read. Then I read The Arban and the Saman, which was pretty good - if you like that kind of thing. I also read both Shrouded and Klara and the Sun, which were fantastic reads. Now I'm reading Skulduggery Pleasant.
