Finished this morning. The Lady of the Rivers
by Philippa Gregory
.This book has me more interested in the main characters.
Just started The Shape Shifter
. I like Hillerman's books and hate the fact that I'm almost at the end of the series and that there won't be anymore.

I finished reading The Amateurs by Sara Shepard and published a review on it on my blog!https://inkblottings.wordpress.com/20...
I just finished the steampunk novel Unseemly Science, the second book in the "Fall of the Gas-Lit Empire" series. I quite enjoyed it. I discovered the series when I was looking through the book lists of people I follow on Goodreads, trying to find books I hadn't heard of. It was on Felicia Day's list and she liked the series quite a bit. I read the first book in the series last fall and enjoyed it. I'm hoping to read the third book down the road. In the meantime, though, I'll get back to the books I bought over the holidays.
I’be just finished Walter Isaacson’s biography of Albert Einstein. Like all WI’s biographies it’s a weighty tome (as they say) but very well researched. It certainly gave me a much deeper insight into Einstein’s life and character.
Can anyone help me with a quick read through of Secret Cargo, an intense action adventure thriller. I must publish in a couple of days, hence the rush. What do you think of the story? Characters? Realism? Tension? Plot? anything else you can think of.
Message me if you can help.
Please share.
Thank you.
