Heather (georgouschaos) | 47 comments Lol, well, I get it. I've written some dark stuff in my day too, so I know what you mean, and normally that's the kinds of books I like to read anyway, so...:) You're right though, if that's your thing own it! Or at least that's my opinion too. What I do like about GR is that it pushes me to do things that are sometimes outside my "comfort zone", and that's good too, I think.

Heather (georgouschaos) | 47 comments wow lol that's great!

Indeed. Who knew that my comfort zone would change into male characters instead of female characters. :P

Heather (georgouschaos) | 47 comments It feels that way to me too sometimes.

Heather (georgouschaos) | 47 comments Question, and I apologize if you already addressed this somewhere and I didn't see it, but would it be possible for someone to escape from the CAC's experiments?

JaneAddict... (janeaddict) | 75 comments Okies my brains been working out my ideas but need a question answered... Does everyone get invited to CAC or only some? I've got this idea I wanna use but it only works if only some are invited...

Ah, yes, no one has asked this before. It isn't possible for now. The secret is involved here and I can't let it out just yet...

Yes, some are invited to volunteer. CAC actually prefers to choose the people since those people would be working under them.

Haha, no problem, though I didn't really answer your question...

message 63: by Heather (new)

Heather (georgouschaos) | 47 comments Yeah you did, if escape from the CAC isn't possible for the time being then that answered my question :) If you wanna let me in on the secret though, that would be cool too ;) lol.

Where do you want their places located? In the city or the outskirts?

message 68: by Heather (new)

Heather (georgouschaos) | 47 comments Dustin in the city and Kaden in the outskirts :)

message 72: by Deanna (new)

Deanna | 12 comments Hello! I have a question. I'm making the Sentients scientist, and I was wondering if it would be possible for him to be a CAC defector, like someone who didn't take philexiphan, but worked on the drug itself, but something really bad happened to him, and he managed to get out. I noticed earlier you said escape is impossible. Is that just for agents? Or would it have been impossible for him to escape too? If that's the case, I will have to change my character. :)

Thanks!

Ji Mei (jimei) | 366 comments Mod
The CAC's employees are all required to take philexiphan since the Director expects them all to use their abilities to further the research. I suppose I should have mentioned that earlier. Also, I think the defecting/agents are more of a recent thing with the rise of the Sentients. And as a defector, he'd most likely be hunted down, so it probably would be better if he's a double agent.

message 74: by Deanna (new)

Deanna | 12 comments Okay. I may try something different then. I don't want him on the philexiphan. He's supposed to pretty much not care about anything, and needing to keep himself alive will require way too much caring.

Ah, okay. Sorry if that ruins your plans. I have this whole story/concept in my head and it's hard to translate for this group. To be honest, I'm not even sure where this group is going nowadays.

message 76: by Deanna (new)

Deanna | 12 comments I understand. I almost tried to play out a story I was thinking of with Tessa once, but I couldn't get the way I wanted the story to go out of my head, and I was worried I wouldn't like the direction it took.

Yeah, it looks like not many people are posting very often anymore! :(

Next question. (Don't feel bad if you have to say no again. It's your story!) Would it be plausible for my scientist's wife to mysteriously die if he ticked off CAC? I'm looking for a back story that will make him bitter and indifferent.

message 77: by Ji Mei , CEO (new)

Ji Mei (jimei) | 366 comments Mod
Yes, that is definitely plausible and actually very probably. Since CAC is either taken up with crazy cruel people or people that are forced to work with them, that will definitely work.

And yes, people don't post often, though that is because those people are more inactive and there are not many people in this group anyways. It probably would be more fun if more people joined, but I think my idea is too confusing.

message 78: by Deanna (new)

Deanna | 12 comments Okay, great! And CAC buys out pharmaceutical companies, right?

Yeah. I get it. It takes quite a bit of reading, and you don't want people in here that aren't willing to do their homework!

Ji Mei (jimei) | 366 comments Mod
Yes, and also sabotages others and some other things. I'm thinking CAC has some espionage for sure and the government doesn't know what goes on (maybe CAC buys them off or they are fed false info or CAC has some gov't peeps).
