Riley Flint (rileyflint) | 12 comments Becca and I are both working on the first drafts of NA contemporary romance novels. Hers is 77k words, and mine is 55k. We're looking for a third person to join our group as a mutual critique partner. We are only able to work by exchanging Akkadian Cuneiform tablets, or with google docs.
As it stands, we already have a dynamic going. We're fairly snarky in our commentary, and we're not afraid to tell each other when their writing is crap (it's not often, but we all have bad days). Our comments occasionally go off on tangents. We'd want someone who can handle that, and ideally fall into the rhythm.
We are best at character interactions and story structure (along with a smattering of other skills) Ideally, we'd be looking to add someone who considers character arcs to be one of their strengths.

Now for two brief synopses:

Becca's Book, Working Title: *Crave*
Kane Donahue is just trying to navigate his way through a nasty divorce And raising his 3yo. He is just trying to keep his life as stable as possible for his son and avoid complications. Unfortunately for him, there is Scarlett. His nanny, friend, and one big complication.

Anthony's Book, Working Title: *Cassette in the Closet*
30 years ago a cassette was hidden under the floorboards of a home in northern Wisconsin.
When Ren finds postcards from a lost part of her family and Eli finds the cassette the pair find themselves embroiled in a dangerous mystery. Maybe some secrets are better left buried.
