James walked quietly, the sand shuffling as he walked upon it. His thick black hair blew as the wind blew harshly past him and out toward sea. He paused, looking out to the ocean. He had many thoughts, thoughts about leaving Neverland for good, thoughts about love, happiness, death. The mortal world could offer him so much more than Neverland. And he knew how to leave the island, now all he had to do was leave it.

James's focus paused as he heard a few branches crunch behind him. He didn't turn around, but listened intensly, waiting for someone or something to appear.

He listens carefully, hearing the cry of a girl. He turned a it, able to see her. A young woman, lay on her hands and elbows, her skin scratched and her face quivering in fear. He watched her, not changing his expression, nor taking a step toward her. Her face looked familiar, and seeing someone as beat up as her obviously didn't live in Neverland, he knew at that moment who she was, "Wendy?" he asked, his voice had a soothing deep tone.

He smiled faintly, his movements were very slow. "I;m not going to hurt you, nor would I ever hurt you. If I did Peter would hunt me down... but what's this you say? You're wanting to leave?" he asked, actually a bit concerned, knowing the past that Wendy and Peter once had.

He walked over toward her slowly, knowing that she was terrified. Holding out his good hand, he said, "Come. It's too cold to be in just a nightgown." a smile of kindness peered from his face. "I can take you to my ship, and I can possibly help you with your home problem."
James lead her over to his small row boat, allowing her to get inside first. She was so scared looking, he wondered what happened between Peter and her. He chose not to speak to her about it though. As he rowed them toward his ship, he helped her climb up the side ladder onto the main deck. As she climbed and he followed behind her, he yelled up to Smee,"Smee! Get my cabin ready! We have a guest. Smee took off, cleaning up the small cain aboard the ship. As Wendy came aboard the grand ship, many of the other pirates grinned at her flirtishly. But soon stopped as James came up behind her. Placing his hand upon her back, he lead her toward his cabin, closing the door behind him. "Here you go sir," Smee said, putting the last of the logs onto the small fire pit. "Thank you Smee.." he replied, allowing Wendy to sit down.

James sat down across from Wendy, studying her, "You don't talk as much as you once did.." he smiled, trying to spark some conversation. Outside the door the crew yelled loudly, overpowering the quietness that was in the cabin, James got up opening the door and yelled, "Shut up you damn ignorant fools!" The crew hushed up and returned to their work. And James sa back down with a smile, "Sorry my dear. Sometimes they're a bit too rowdy."

James sighed, "Look.. I can take you home, but I can't do this favor without your assistance." he paused, "I need you to go capture Tinkerbell first, or at least help me capture her. Only then will you be able to leave here. And if you don't, I'm afraid Peter's your only way out. And by the looks of you, I'm very certain you're not wanting to see him again.."
James leanded forward. "I'll make sure no harm comes to you.. But if I am to assist you home, we must start our seach now."
"She has what we need,.. the dust. My ship has flown before. But I'd need her again to help it fly. Without her, yyou'll remain here.."
The two headed out toward the island, searching quietly amoungst the brush. James would turn back to look over at Wendy, her eyes trailing the ground, her face serious and non changing. He paused, looking down at her. Lifting her chin a bit with his good hand, he smiled, "Hey.. don't be so upset. Things will turn up. You'll see.." he smiled, continuing to walk forward in front of her. He kept his eyes peeled, looking for the small glowing light.
