FYI: Shelves will consist of either 1 or 2-letter combo. And, the FREE SPACE book options have been changed as well. Make sure you read up on each before the game starts. Let me know if you have any questions with either.

Yes Dragana, but the minimum page count is only 100, so providing you can find the appropriate short book - no worries.
I had to check with other team challenges I participate for minimum page count. But I think I can work something out. Sign me in!This is going to be great motivation to clean up a lot of short freebies I accumulated. :)

From what I understand Leslie, it needn't be shelved as a freebie as such. As long as you got that book free of cost- freebies, library books, ARCs etc, they are acceptable here.

I would have signed up, but I haven't bought many free books that I need to read. So I don't think I'll find books for the two shelves each week.

➸ The Name of the Game is: Freebie ABCs
This round is called "Freebie ABCs" for a reason. Now's your chance to read some of those freebies you've been hoarding and catch up on those library book stacks. If you didn't pay a cent for the book, it's acceptable.
Changes for this round only:
- Shelves will consist of 1-2 letters (see details here )
- TWO shelves will be called each week
- Only free-reads will be allowed
- 100p minimum requirement per book
- New FREE SPACE options (see details here )
REMINDERS:
➸ Each player must check-in a minimum of once a week following the shelf announcement. Let your teammates know which books you will be reading. We are understanding of RL issues that may arise throughout the game keeping you from posting, however, this is a TEAM challenge. Your teammates depend on you to participate and communicate with them. Your teammates and I thank you in advance!
➸ There is no way to know in advance how long the game will last. Past rounds have lasted 2.5-4.5 months. The shelves are chosen using random.org, so there is always a chance the game could go on for a shorter or longer time period. Keep in mind - this is a speed round with two shelves announced each week, so the game should be shorter than the average listed above.

In the meantime, I will work on prep. Sign-up will close Fri 24 Oct, so don't delay if ya wanna play! Monday, I'll shuffle teams, create team threads and finish any prep. We should be set to start in a week.
