the scene with Rix and the horse and the remains of the zoo is creepy AF.

Amanda Starling | 7 comments Just finished this book! I really enjoyed it. 4 stars. This was my second McCammon book. I think I liked Swan Song better but Usher’s Passing was a really fun read! Good recommendation.

Swan Song is more of a "Stand" type of book (epic), imho--USHER'S PASSING is pure "fun".

solitaryfossil | 22 comments I started late to this group read (I'm only at 36% today), but I'm enjoying it.

I had forgotten what happened to Boone. I absolutely love this book. I love learning the history of the Usher’s. Those parts are my favorite. The Lodge reminds me of Rose Red. (Not a bad thing) so I may watch the movie soon. I don’t remember how Greediguts is tied in with everything. I hope to finish this very soon.

Tom Mathews | 144 comments I'm another late starter. I just started it yesterday. Boy's Life is one of my all-time favorites so I am really looking forward to this.
