Lucky you, the thing is me and my friends get competitive about who wins hehe. Have anyone heard the spin about the blue black dress, am seeing it blue and black apparently some see it gold and white. How are you guys seeing it.
Well it could mean we are colour blind. Take a deep look at the dress again, I did that and I thought I saw gold but the blue remained blue to me.
I got the answer if your eyes can work better in dim light you see it properly. If not you see white and gold.

Nah I doubt it

That's good to actually know. Imagine wearing black and pink only to realise you were wearing orange and yellow the whole time, or maybe everybody's is colour blind and nature is white. This thing is driving me crazy I'll just go read a book.
Well, it depends on depth preception/light, on the Tumblr dress. At first I saw navy and a dark yellow, but then I saw white and gold.
It ugly as blue/dark yellow for me, but gorgeous as white/gold.
On the news this morning, I saw it as white and gold, but when a friend showed it to me on her phone in gym, I saw it as blue and black.
Yeah! This guy showed me-blue, my friend in English- white.
lol the dress. we argued so much about that thing in my art class and it was pretty funny.
im only replying for the first time but here's the explanation:
the real dress is actually blue/black (company confirmed this, but they're going to sell the white/gold dress in a couple months). it can look gold/white mostly depending on the cones and rods (color receptors for color and black/white) in your eye, but theres some other small factors too like brightness.
both of them are technically right with it being realistically black/blue but photograph-wise it looks as white/gold. the photograph probably had weird lighting or flash that made it look like the lighter colors.
EDIT: here's the dress directly from the website.

Oh cool I always see it as blue/black lol
I can't view the spoiler, but I bet it's hi-lar-ious!

ahh ill remove the spoiler then, even though alex posted it (xwx) i thought the post would be long so i placed it under a spoiler
Yup! Alex, that's basically what I qas lecturing at school. All. Day.
Hello, I am obviously new to this group and, although I noticed that there are a lot of members and a lot of roleplaying has already transpired, I was wondering if it were possible for me to fit in a new character at this point? Maybe as a new transfer student or something. I don't have a great grasp of this group yet but I understand that you should come from old money and always personify that. Is there anything else I should be aware of? Please let me know if a new character wouldn't really be able to fit in anywhere, it won't hurt my feelings. Danke schön!
Hello! A new student will fit right in, it's simple make a character. An event in going on now join in and bam! You've been announced that's all. Request for a dorm and if your character is interested in any of Vanderbilt group join in. Your character must have at least a talent and could be scholarship or not. That's all it takes, welcome to Vanderbilt.
Thank you :) Should I pretend my character has been a student at this school for a while of treat him/her as if he's just transferred?
Since this isn't an actual school, your character can be whatever.
Oh, haha, yeah, obviously XD I thought you meant something like the roleplay isn't about a school type of thing.
After looking into this roleplay a little more, I've decided this isn't the right place for me but thanks anyway :)
Okay LB! Thanks for telling us! :)
You create them, and use them against Vanderbilt characters for competitins and pranks.
Hi Angel :) So I have a quick question while I'm creating my character. With the appearance do I have to make sure the actress is not taken in face claim first?
Yes! If it's in the list or comments below, it's a no-go.

I started last spring :D
