hello! it's quite exciting to see a group on here that's lasted since 2014. it's impressive and the banner is lovely! one of the very first roleplays i did on here [way back in 2012 when the og rp community on here was all still in high school] was also an academy based rp. i'm super excited to soon be a part of this one. i don't know if anyone else has been here since the beginning, but i can't seem to stay away from this site even after six years. seemingly strange enough, more accounts just keep getting made and my html skills tested.

Thank you, and I am having fun (been kinda obsessed over the last few days)! Elitist role-players are just annoying, but now a lot of Goodreads groups have rules about being kind and respectful to others. I recently found this role play group as well, and is loving it so far. I hope you have a wonderful time here too! (do you have any character ideas yet?)
rp'ng is addicting, right? i'm not sure why! maybe because i get attached to fictional characters too much. does gr still have the pg-thirteen perma ban in place? i was here before they monitored a group's activities haha you could have a full on smut scene and not get any penalty. that's not a declaration of my opinion though. i think it's interesting how tight the security on gr has gotten over the last couple of years. thank you so much though; you've been such a pleasant and warm welcoming! i don't have any character ideas yet! i need to get on that. i wanted to see what the vibe on here was, first.
It depends on the groups if there is some kind of pg-13 rule, but this one doesn't really allow anything over that (it's in their rules page), otherwise you'll possibly get kicked out. I do think most groups will have some warnings in place. This group is one of the best role play ones I had come across so far! There is not too many people, and the community is very supporting. I recently did a role play with one of the moderators of this group, and it was pretty fun (I guess we can take advantage of Goodreads to improve our writing techniques too)! Characters do need to get approved by the moderators, but they're pretty active and you'll probably get the result in less than twenty-four hours.Again, I hope you'll have fun, and maybe we can rp together sometime!
ah, i see! i checked the rules a little while ago and i saw a pg tag which is totally cool. smut and the likes really don't add much except get the authors hot and heavy -- so there's truly no point unless it's for personal pleasure in the pms. most definitely though! one thing this site has granted me is the ability to write 10,000+ word descriptive posts. it was really helpful when i was actively writing, but now i'm a sculpture major in college so it's hard to focus on my personal writing. a dream of mine has always been to publish a novel though so perhaps one day! thank you so much love, i'd love to rp with you once i get my charries rolling!
Sculpting major? That's so cool! I'm an art student myself, though I'm not sure if I should go down the art path or the writing path, since they're both my passions... Anyway, good luck, and have fun! Update me on your progress, I'd love to tune in (only if you want to, of course).
it's technically : sculpture & extended media because the university i go to is super contemporary haha you could always do both, my friend! someone in a class of mine is a sculpture major and an english minor and it's totally possible to double major. both practices require each other so it all depends on what you want to get out of your education. the other advice i can give you [probably the best advice] is to not focus on jobs in the future, but rather pursuing your passion now. the jobs will come to you in this regard. and with that i shall stop spamming this poor intro thread haha but i'll most certainly update you. thank you for this lovely chat.
