Well I just finished redshirts again for the second time

There's a weird set of emotions that go with this book… I know it's supposed to be "comedy" and some people think it's hilarious but to me I've never really found it funny. The idea that someone else's writing your life would be more akin to a horror film for me. What you guys think?
Also, what do you guys think about the three code sections? I find their change in you to be a bit weird.

There are bits that are funny but it's more of a action book.

I suppose the humor is more that it's kind of a spoof of StarTrek, but I agree it really wasn't a comedy to me. I liked the three sections, the different perspectives, and I really liked the way the third part ended. A great big AWWWWWW because those to found each other. I know lots of people raved about this book. I enjoyed it, but I don't think I would really rave about it.
