ninth house has a snake on the cover but as we already had one snake, i wasn't sure if it was worth putting it down unless we had another 5 snakes but it also didn't asily fit in to one of the 7 deadly sins which was a shame given the 462 pages of the book.I will double check if i can find some more animals in it

i striked out my claim on buffalo since i found vampire bat (and sea slug) in the book
I thought catfish was ruled out for Save the Date?I could only find 'dogs' for it so I don't know if you want to use it for animals or not
I have had almost no time to read 😕 will finish my guppy book but I don't know about the two others. I'm sorry 😭

Honestly not really... it was pretty uninteresting for the first half. I was so sad; I really wanted to like it because it's J.K. Rowling but it was just so hard to get into. :(
Oh and are we allowed to start planning for the new mini-challenge? I just saw that it was up, and I can actually do a lot more for this one :)

I just realized we read a lot but since we are not reading those big fat books, we don't get enough book points. Well, I'm reading a 800+ book for school so maybe that will help and also planning to read It but that might take some time guys. Sorry.

We'd score better if we stuck to the sin strategy

However you are right...there are a few teams that really embraced the Mini and they are way ahead...I believe they read strickly for tricky and almost every book. So if there is a particular amulet you all want to go for, we can move our strategy to that.
We are doing well with reading for our Sin. We fell back a bit this week because Sloth Teams got an edge...but we could go back to that and if/when a mini comes up for Envy, we could really embrace that mini so to speak.
We can also abandon the idea of sticking close to 38 books and go for the max each week of 46 books instead. We went over this week...so that might be something we should consider.
As of this minute, we've actually climbed a few notches...not sure if everyone has reported yet though.
Enjoy your reads this week everyone...feel free to chime in on strategy for moving forward :)
Maybe try for longer books to begin with? If we want points, I think the easiest solution for everyone (who wants to) is to find longer books but still get those color covers.

Just because it has 5 points doesn’t mean we should demean the mini challenge.
Can we put the same book if it falls under two tasks? We get more points that way.

It’s super short, but I need it for another challenge. I’ll read a couple of longer ones to make up for 2 shorts I need to read. We can always not record them if needed.
