Hey guys, sorry i ahven't been around much this weekend. It was my birthday so i ahve had family commitments for most of it. I have made a start on the working spreadsheet but am happy to make changes and tabs as we need them. I will have a play with it tomorrow night and then send links out in the next couple of days

I have been shelving read books according to the cover of their colors. Won't re-read them, but will it help you guys?

Talking about strategy...7 points for achieving Sin Bingo
5 points for each book used for colour cover
3 points for each book used for top shelf
1 point for each book used for sin specification (EXCEPT for Avarice, which gets 0 points)
We'll max on points with Sin Bingo...but next best thing is 'color cover'
Even if I can't do Sin Bingo, I can do color cover for sure. :D
I'll make sin-specific shelves at work tomorrow for books that fit at least 2/3 categories

Also, I have a book that would work for sin bingo for Pride (I Am Princess X), but it is only 230 pages. It could work, though, unless someone can find a book that is more pages. I can get it from the library pretty quickly.

Annie do a dbl check on this book...mpg genre shows it's a 'graphic novel'.
I love that everyone is digging in...I think the hunt is one of the best parts...someone else said that earlier...so fun!
Yeah the hunt is really fun! And when we get to plug in the books and get points for it, it is so satisfying. :D

It's a short one too.
I think I can get sin bingo for Envy for some books but it would be so much easier if other team members let everyone know what books they have read. How do we get that info? I have some friends who are in other teams and can see their updates but if we knew about more people, then it would increase our chances, don't you think?

1.
2. There is a sharing thread open...you could post and idea there...maybe others will chime in they are also reading
3. I have quite a few friends doing this challenge...in the book thread it says in the dialogue which of my friends have read the book....so if you have a specific book, maybe we could all check the thread for you?
...anybody else have ideas on how to tackle this?

Hi Everyone! Sorry, I didn't realise the teams had been created and had to go searching for my name :-)Anyhoo, I'm Michelle and I live on the Central Coast of NSW, Australia. I have a husband, two kids (an 8 year old boy and 4 year old girl), two dogs, two cats, a duck, a chicken and some fish!
I also run my own business so will do my absolute best to check in here as much as I can but sometimes juggling all the things does make time get away from me.
I'm really looking forward to this round as the TT are my absolute favourite challenges. I think I've done almost all of them except maybe two?
Also, I usually get easily confused as to what we are supposed to be reading so am totally open to getting suggestions or a nice nudge as to what we need to aim for so I can find a book to match.
I look forward to getting to know you all over the next couple of months!

Okay, so the YA+Green cover list now has 60ish books on it. Hope some of those will work for you guys. On to Gluttony. I'll revisit the shelves later to mark which ones qualify for Sin Bingo.

Now that everyone has likely delved in to the sins...please share your top 2 favs...Mine are Lust and vanity...these kinda go together I think ;)

ah, this is a cool idea!
i have several books lined up for Wrath and Sloth/Vanity, so maybe those are my favorites? i struggle to find books for Lust and Gluttony, but if needed i'd probably be able to steal some ideas from your shelves and pick ones that aren't too difficult to find. Midu's list has been very helpful for my Greed books ;)
