How much time do we have left??"
A little over 12 hrs, Cecily.
Lemme know when I can finish the 24th. I am almost done.
Hey guys, I am so sorry I've been missing for so long. I had a major dealine to meet this week for work that took all my time and my husband went away for work so I had to juggle the kids and all their activities on my own on top of everything else! I have no idea where the last two weeks have gone......When I can get back on my computer tomorrow I'll see what we're supposed to be reading for this week with the recommended books and hopefully get 1 or 2 done now things have settled back down again.

Thanks Tammie. I went on a Stephen King splurge. They are just unnecessarily long but good for us, right? ;)

It works Ambi ... enjoy it!
I’m not much of a SK fan...I read the Gunslinger and have never tried another.
A few of you may notice that I've moved your book to Envy classification. In these cases I have 'friends' that are playing that I've been able to verify they read your book in 2019Continue to record as you have been and if I find a chance to convert your book to Envy I will.
There are a couple I haven't been able to find...if any of you have a large friend list and are able to find an option, please feel free to change to Envy option.
Thanks,

Thank you!
Hey everyone! We’re at that point again in our week...under 2 days remaining...if you haven’t already please update the SS to reflect what you’ll finish by our weeks end.
Our final week approaches...I’ll encourage everyone to read for envy in whatever capacity possible.
Happy Reading!
Countdown to end/start of next week ->https://www.timeanddate.com/countdown...
As we get ready to start our final week for this challenge...please take a minute and share the book you liked most and a bit about it :)
- Two heartwarming love stories, one in the past and one in the present, which really portrayed love in the realistic way. I dislike fairytale endings since they are so unrealistic and give people false hope, but this has a balance between hope and karma, which made it so attractive to me.
- This book, about living in the moment and being strong to say goodbye, made me realize how present I should be in my life.
- I always have doubts about not doing enough in my life or I'm not doing the things to be successful in the future. However, this book made me realize that we can all achieve success if we are willing to take the opportunities life gives us and not give up due to adversaries. Sorry couldn't choose one. Thank you so much for hosting this thread, Captains. I had fun and encountered these beautiful books.
- was might highest rated book. I ditto everything Ambi has already said about the book...I personally don't read a lot of non-fiction, but I needed one for another challenge and it worked out perfectly because the book was soooo good!
- I love a book when you also learn something. I didn't really know that 'blue' people existed until I read this beautifully written book.
I'm really sorry guys my life got eazy busy this week and I am only half wU through my book. I have a ton of things happening this coming week as well so I don't know how much reading I can get done. This was all kind of unexpected. I will try to finish my book for this round and do my best for the last. I'm really sorry guys!

It started off with the supes as something other than humans. Then a girl comes into their midst and humanized them. I loved how awkward they found to interact with people and how difficult it was for them to get some of our traditions, etc. Yet they knew how to be kind in their own way. Good humor was a plus too. It was a strong first installment in a series that I hope will only get better.
Ambi wrote: "Will we be able to reach our minimum this week?"Good question...likely not. I have left a message for the Mods updating our situation as we have several players that seem to have stopped playing as of week 7. I didn't miss them until last week and after PM'ing have not yet heard an update.
I don't think it's necessary for those still playing to read beyond what you have been...we'll see if the Mods can help us out a bit.
:)
I might’ve able to get another book in. I’ll be in the back seat of a van for most of the morning tomorrow. I made it further into my biography book than I thought I would. I’ll update the spreadsheet in the morning if i can fit it in.
I have 4 books still to add from this week. Between the Melbourne trip and the my partner going into hospital, my good reads time diminished this week but I will get the books updated ASAP in time for deadline this week
When it rains it pours...no worries everyone...we’re doing this for fun...take care of your families. Thanks to all for checking in :)
I probably can finish Tommyknockers tomorrow. Such a bore though. Out of 5 hours of listening till now, I was only interested in 2 hours of it.
Just a quick update...we have 7 out reading yet...if we get those done, we'll make our minimum plus maybe a few more.I'll return in about 3 hours to work on checking in...Megan feel free to work on main SS if you have time...I haven't done anything yet...but should be OK with time if you don't.
Thanks everyone!
I’m in my phone so I can’t do much on the spread sheet. I got one of the books done, but can’t add the book link
@Megan...The Wright Brothers is on the SS as read on 12/7 but it's not on your TT shelf...I'm recording it as read for this week...please just be sure to update your shelf. The Rule of One is on the SS but not noted as 'read' in either place. I assume you didn't finish so please move to next week. It is a YA so record as 'envy' please.
@Ambi...I show Tommyknockers on the SS but it doesn't show as 'read' on your shelf or the SS...so please move to next week if you are reading.
With this we just made 30 books...our minimum...nice work everyone!
I’ve finished a small book and put it in- I’m on my phone and can’t seem to put in the title! Can a modPlease do so? I have the link in - To Vex a Viscount

I updated it Tina...I've now checked us in for 31 books...I'm done with this for this week.
Thanks Tina for fitting another on it! Happy reading everyone...I'll leave an update on standing later this afternoon.
Ambi wrote: "I can’t finish tommyknockers this week. Can I post it for next week?"You can yes...sounds perfect.
The good news is we are still in the lead for the Vanity Charm :)The challenging news is that team Vanity is 1 book behind us and the Vanity mini continues. They read 42 books last week compared to our 31 and mostly for 'Vanity'. Not sure we can compete with the 42 books...but we can give it the 'college try'.
Same strategy as last week...if you can, read for 'anything Envy' or what other team's members read in 2019...this will get us closer to that charm.
I hope you all have enjoyed the challenge and happy reading for his last week of. Would love to hear from a few others on your favorites for the challenge...see post #873
Link to main SS with links to other team's SS's for review if you like -> https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
'Teams Envy' do lead the overall challenge :)
I don’t like how some teams got to get more weeks to read for their sin than the rest of us. Like lust and vanity. :/

Hey Mods, So I finished reading Dream a Little Dream of Me using this edition from amazon - https://www.amazon.com.au/Dream-Littl...But I can't find a kindle edition with the same page count on good reads. The edition that I have saved on GR has 198 pages. I tried to add a new edition but the ISBN of the copy I have won't work on a new edition I'm not sure what to do?
