Do we have any series readers for #10 or above? Midu is out there is #24...Midu please plan on not finishing for a day or so to allow for any additionals. I'm out shopping...will finish my #11 yet today...should only take a bit as I was almost day a day or so ago.

Yep, I will do it on sunday. It's not a chunkster like her other books, so it shouldn't take too long.
Also, would a higher number make a difference score-wise? I can look for one if it will.

I have updated the SS to reflect what I assume is the final mini. This go we will be using the FAVORITE-REC list for mini points. Bad Books have ended. Of course you can still read for any of the other sin categories...try and defer to Envy/Green books if you have a choice.
VANITY
Vanity or pride is an excessive belief in one's own abilities.
As you certainly remember, we asked you to recommend two books on your sign-up form. These recommendations are going to be the pride and joy of this mini challenge.
For the remaining two weeks, as a team, read as many of the recommendations of your fellow players as possible - Enjoy!
◈ Only books finished between 2nd and 16th December will count for the Pride mini challenge (i.e. books finished in weeks 9 and 10).
◈ Books will either count towards the main part of the challenge (the Seven Deadly Sins) or towards this mini challenge.
◈ The same book can be read by more than one team member.
◈ You must read the book listed in the recommendation: series substitutions are not permitted.
◈ You will gain 7 points per recommended book read.

The Ghost Brigades...is this for Sin Bingo or just genre...not sure if you have the brown cover version and/or if there is anything in the book that is enraging you... :)

If it doesn't have a brown cover it won't work for sin bingo...I didn't know if you were reading the brown cover version or not. You've got it recorded right...just didn't see the link for the version you were reading...sorry to confuse.

@Tina ... Also, please correct the version you have shelved...I think you took the default...you recorded 'red cover'. If what you have shelved is correct, we just can't use it for red cover.
Do we need more book to reach the minimum? When Cecily comes on she’ll have quite a number of books right?
I am currently reading #11 which I have to read to read #12 but 13 is a different series. I am working from home today so I should be able to update the SS and get some major reading done.

If this is for Chestnut Man, then the version I read was a white cover. I wasn’t 100% sure if the red cover would be okay. On the BOM the have a little list of what it would the book work for and they had red on it so I thought it would be okay. But otherwise I don’t mind if it’s used for Vanity or Envy!
I just realized my Patient Zero book was a nominee for the award not a winner so I changed it to sloth for being on my TBR for 2+ years! I think you have already updated the official SS so you will have to change it so we don't get dinged for it.

We're still in the lead for the team reading for the most books in their category...team Vanity is behind us, but only by 10. With the next two weeks favoring vanity it will be difficult to maintain this lead without fairing toward books for Envy...so if you have a choice, and have something you would love to read for Envy...pick that book. Thoughts of support to move a few of our mini books for this week to Envy??
Ambi you have a couple...I think used for 'bad' books and Cecily your last two are both 'envy'.

I guess you could change The Upside of Unrequited to YA for Envy. I'll read more YA books this week then. I think since this category is our only shot in getting something from this challenge, we should read more sin bingo books for Envy or just focus on envy in general. Also, favorite books can be read over the course of two weeks, we really should not let go of this opportunity to get something since we are sooo close.

Remember there are 3 choices for envy and quite a few could work for something someone in tt’s read in 2019...ya...or green cover

I'm happy with our current plan. I'll look out for some sin bingo books to read over the next two weeks. Though I wish other teams could just tell us what green covered young adult books they read this year to make it easier for us to get sin bingo haha
