They do...yeah!

Confused by your question Ambi...could you ask another way?

I've double checked most of your ideas and picked words that will give us a good range of letters. Our letters are now listed in the SS under 'letter'. If you could go ahead and pick a spot for your book...realize captains may need to move things around. We'll likely end up using a few shorter words if we don't have the exact books, but for now...let's concentrate on the longer books...these make up 36 books if my math is right.
If you have a choice...pick these letters 1st: N, Y, E, A, L ... these will be the more difficult letters.
Let us know if you have any questions or if you think we've missed something critical.
Happy reading!

Tammie, it says wriggly lines okay. That's why I chose those words.

I’ll ask Ambi
******** Clarification....YES any speaking characters—first or last name are OK.********
Like last round, if you could claim a letter, but then write everything it works for, we’ll be able to move things around if needed
Thanks Ambi for thinking of this.

Sorry...I personally couldn’t find the words with touching letters, perhaps someone else could find them??

No issues. As long as we have the words and can continue reading :D

You are right Midu...
@ALL...I think the letters are pretty well covered...unfortunately the word search doesn't cover the entire alphabet...I think we have a good range.
Another super busy work week for me, I'll try and read a few shorter books so we have a chance at more letters...will do my best.
Happy reading!

As long as you partake in a minimum of 3 ou are good

As long as you partake in a minimum of 3 ou are good"
3 days worth of DQs done! Woohoo.

Gluttony is an inordinate desire to consume more than that which one requires.
For this mini-challenge, your team is going to try to read higher and higher numbers in series. In other words, you're going to build a ladder of books from series, starting with the lowest and going as high as you can get.
However, they need to be finished consecutively. #3 cannot be finished before #1, and #10 cannot be finished before #6. You may skip numbers on your way up, but you cannot read for a number that is lower than the one that has been read previously. The ladder only goes up, not down.
◈ Only books finished between 25th November and 2nd December will count for the Gluttony mini challenge (i.e. books finished in week 8).
◈ Books will either count towards the main part of the challenge (the Seven Deadly Sins) or towards this mini challenge.
◈ It needs to be clearly visible on GoodReads which # in the series the book is.
◈ For books that are part of a sub-series (e.g. Discworld titles) we will be using the information on the book's main page. e.g. The Wee Free Men is #30 in the Discworld series, not #1 in the Tiffany Aching sub series
◈ Only whole number entries allowed (no in-between .1s).
◈ Books need to be finished in order.
◈ One ladder per team.
◈ You will gain 5 points per book in the ladder.
◈ As each ladder gains 3 rungs you will receive a bonus 10 points.

Ideas on organizing ourselves?
Do we want to concentrate on reading for envy instead?
I’m open to what everyone would like to do...we’ll take next 24 hrs for ideas and then captains will organize how we’ll approach this.
***We are at 1.5 days left for ENVY. Please update the SS with what you plan to finish. We need about 10 more books to achieve the minimums.***
Thanks everyone!

And they have to be read/finished in order if I’m reading this correctly.
I have a couple of higher series numbers. I’d be fine just reading / focusing on ‘envy’ books too.

And they ..."
Yep. I am game for either approach too. I do have some numbers like 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, and 24.

Cool with me.

Midi, We are around 2 books short from reaching the minimum. Maybe we can grab short books to reach the minimum?

@Tina I moved 'Two Can Keep a Secret' to our Mini
@Cecily I assigned 'Next' to our Mini
@Tina I show you are still reading 'Cry of the Firebird'
@Midu I'm guessing you are still reading 'Rules for Vanishing'
With the three books I show Midu, Tina and Ambi are reading...We are one book short of our minimum
***We need an A and a T to finish our words

You can read for T. That’s the only letter left unless we start a new word which we probably don’t have time for.

My book will work for either A or T...so we need one of those. I put mine down for A

I've added a WSS for this week's mini.
Please remember books must be read in order of DATE!
If you claim a spot, be sure you are prompt in recording your finish date.
For this week...captains will not be able to move things around...so...if you prefer to read for a 'bad book' OR for 'sin bingo' OR whatever else...this is a good week to do so.
Please ask your questions here. If you need someone to enter a book completion for you...please enter in this thread and someone will help.
Thanks everyone...and happy reading!

Are you talking about the ‘D’ book for this week?

I will try to get mine done before tonight

I will see what I have in the way of 2s 5 s and 6s to read in the early part of this week as the biggest problem for me is that I am away from Wednesday night until Monday morning so I can’t guarantee what I will be able to read during that time. Which is a shame as I am up to 27 in the argeneau series and 42 in the in death seri3s which old be great for later in the week
I have a a 10 hour train trip each way so hoping to get some reading listening in there but again as I will have my 7 year old with me, there are no guarantees

I meant the #1 book.

I have two assignments to work on this week so I don't think I'll get much reading done. I'm nearly finished with Wideacre though
Can we do #1, #1, #1, #2, #3, #3, #4 or does it have to be #1, #2, #3, #4?

Not sure Ambi...I switched it though

Tina, you can take #1 if you want if it’s easier for you that way. :)
