A few of us captains set up a Listopia for the Bad Books...it might be easier to compare if it's on your tbr with this list. I have to click on 'all books' to see the list for some reason

Midu...please only list what you plan to read on the SS. Your 'bad books' should go under Part 2...I'll mark that section more clearly...a bit confusing I think.

Bad Books can be read at anytime during weeks 5-8. I am just incorporating those in the first part, so we get major points. Bad Books can also be counted for both parts.
So, I am thinking I can move any Bad Books in reserve to other mini challenges in weeks 6-8 too. Am I even making sense? It is 4 am here lol

Slap me silly!!! Here's the ruling about Bad Books for this coming week...◈ If you read a Bad Book recommendation between 4th and 11th November (i.e. during week 5) you can use it in Part One as well as Part Two
Midu...once you decide which ones you'll read in Week One, please feel free to move them to the story board. I hope this makes sense :)
I have a bunch of books to put in the SS. I'll do it right now.
Should I put Casino Royale for mini-challenge, Tammie? We haven't met the book limits yet but its only 181 pages.

So, I started reading the Fountainhead in October, which is a bad book rec. I can't put it for the bad book points right? Cause a book has to be started and finished between the period? I would put it in the SS anyway cause it's 800+ pages. :D but some bonus points sound good.

I would put..."You can. As long as you didn't start it before the 1st week of the challenge...books should be recorded during the week they are finished. Wow...I would have a hard time finishing a chunkster that was bad...but good for us.
If you finish it for LUST week, you can record it in Part One and Part Two...I'm not sure how we use 'fountainhead' in the story...but we can think of something. ...or you have 3 more weeks after this week to finish it and we can still get credit for you reading a 'bad' book.

And can I just say seeing that in the bad rec section made me really sad. It’s really philosophical and the characters are not exactly virtuous neither villainous, which is why people may not have liked it. I feel like it got a bad rep just because it wasn’t a conventional reading. Smh.
I really love how we all have different taste in reading. Like Flavia de Luce is one of my favorites and yet it is on the Bad Books list. Then there is the Fever series, which I absolutely hated and it ended up on the list too Fun!

Annie...both are on the SS still. If you read the version that's 544 pages, you need to correct your shelf...you shelved the one for 485. Either way...we need to get one or the other off of the SS. I hope this makes sense.

I am around, I am still reading just haven't had a chance to get to my laptop to update spreadsheets. Working on it now.

The date on the SS tells us you are finished with your book. If you are not finished please don’t put a date. Thanks

We finished week 4 with 42 books readWe are dead last in favors with the MODs, but maybe we can make up for it with a great story! Continue to be in top few in reading for our Category Sin-Vanity
Overall we continue to be in the middle of the pack.
A few teams are blowing us out of the water with the Mini...so if you come across a great 'Envy', green book...we'll do well to continue to defer to Envy 'sin bingo' or green covers in general.
Some teams are doing very in 'their category' because they've had the advantage of their sin being part of a mini...our turn will be coming here soon I'm sure.

Don’t be disheartened guys. 6 more weeks to go and I have a couple of big books coming in my way, as well as Sin bingo for envy.
I feel like this week is going to be really fun cause we can collaborate to come up with the best story.

I have an idea but I'm waiting for everyone to put their input so that I can articulate the story.
I’ll be reading The Murder at the Vicarage for another challenge. I didn’t plan on using it for ours, but it’s might work great in a story.
