Haven't you read Kate Andrews before? If not, you're in for a treat :-)

It's a killer. The first half was a lot of character and world building. I had a lot of free time today and pushed on through. And bonus this book helped me with another challenge.

My latest bingo call (incidentally also the last one) has ruined my plans for the vanity reads haha.
So once I've finished A Local Habitation, I'm going to read Ella, The Slayer, which is on the short side but at least has a blue cover.
And then I'm going to dive into Kushiel's Dart - it is a fave book rec, but it's also a sin bingo for me, so it'll be used for the latter.
I'm also hoping I can get to The Lies of Locke Lamora but that all depends on how busy work is going to be next week.

It has been a crazy week here. I am still chugging along with Under the Dome, will have it done by the end of this week. I have been listening to It. I am not sure if I will be done with it this week or next week as you know it is loooooooong. Just wanted to update you guys on where I was on my reading.
Phew. The beast is slain.

Weekend for me and have two books on the go:When the Lion Feeds - 544 pgs
New York - 1,184 pgs
I did finish
yesterday. It is a possible Sin Bingo book. Going to spend time now going through the teams to see if anyone read it this year.
Nicole, I'll check with the captains if anyone on their teams read it this year. (checked my own friends list, but only found Sarah from Wrath & she read it last year :( )

Yup, Sarah is the only one from NBRC for me as well, though a bunch of them have it on their TBR.

So far, we have read 20 books, so bring those books on, Ladies! :)Today I'll finish The Two Towers.
Seems like I can also have a quite w/e so I'll finish my Hot for the Holidays: Thirteen Naughty & Nice Novellas as well as The Return of the King.
Though it makes me feel totally inadequate with my short books hahaha. Oh well :-) We all know that I'm a slow reader on normal days so it's all good. I think. I hope. *grin*
And I completely forgot that I also have the other BOM on the go still Two Can Keep a Secret, oops.
I'm finishing up all my leftovers for the next two weeks but I WILL read a big one, too. I've had those sitting in front of me the entire duration of the challenge and it's saddening me that I can't get to them. Well except for Tower of Dawn. At least I finally managed to read that.

I posted the request to the Captains' thread, let's see...
Today's Santa Claus day in Hungary, so to celebrate it, please find a musical interlude from me that's also perfectly fitting the TT-Sins Challenge. :)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFbnY...
Haha, that is one of the songs I've been singing for days now ;-)
Santa Claus day here in Luxembourg today as well. I'll soon go to my parents to bake little dough men, which is a traditional thing here for 6th December.

Since the first I've been playing every Christmas playlist on Apple Music and this song has been a constant feature. Definitely apt for the TT Sins challenge 😍

I'm currently watching Love Actually while doing my Christmas tree :-)
The tree itself is now standing - I have one of those where every branch is a separate piece and it's always taking ages even though I have a fairly small tree haha.
Next up: lights! And then decorations, yay!

In Hungary we are supposed to decorate the tree only on 24 Dec, but I can't resist and do it at leas a few days before. ;)
We've always put it up some time in December, but can't quite remember when, I've got time today and have family over for lunch on Sunday, so seemed like a good time to put it up hehe.
It's a nice tradition to do the tree as a family on Christmas Eve, but at the same time, it's a shame because you don't really see it for very long. I guess that stems from back when trees were of the real kind rather than the plastic ones a lot of people use these days.
