Haven't you read Kate Andrews before? If not, you're in for a treat :-)

It's a killer. The first half was a lot of character and world building. I had a lot of free time today and pushed on through. And bonus this book helped me with another challenge.

My latest bingo call (incidentally also the last one) has ruined my plans for the vanity reads haha.
So once I've finished A Local Habitation, I'm going to read Ella, The Slayer, which is on the short side but at least has a blue cover.
And then I'm going to dive into Kushiel's Dart - it is a fave book rec, but it's also a sin bingo for me, so it'll be used for the latter.
I'm also hoping I can get to The Lies of Locke Lamora but that all depends on how busy work is going to be next week.

Yup, Sarah is the only one from NBRC for me as well, though a bunch of them have it on their TBR.

Today I'll finish The Two Towers.
Seems like I can also have a quite w/e so I'll finish my Hot for the Holidays: Thirteen Naughty & Nice Novellas as well as The Return of the King.
Though it makes me feel totally inadequate with my short books hahaha. Oh well :-) We all know that I'm a slow reader on normal days so it's all good. I think. I hope. *grin*
And I completely forgot that I also have the other BOM on the go still Two Can Keep a Secret, oops.
I'm finishing up all my leftovers for the next two weeks but I WILL read a big one, too. I've had those sitting in front of me the entire duration of the challenge and it's saddening me that I can't get to them. Well except for Tower of Dawn. At least I finally managed to read that.

I've looked through 6 teams and A LOT of them have it on their TBR but not read 😭

Haha, that is one of the songs I've been singing for days now ;-)
Santa Claus day here in Luxembourg today as well. I'll soon go to my parents to bake little dough men, which is a traditional thing here for 6th December.

Since the first I've been playing every Christmas playlist on Apple Music and this song has been a constant feature. Definitely apt for the TT Sins challenge 😍

I'm currently watching Love Actually while doing my Christmas tree :-)
The tree itself is now standing - I have one of those where every branch is a separate piece and it's always taking ages even though I have a fairly small tree haha.
Next up: lights! And then decorations, yay!

We've always put it up some time in December, but can't quite remember when, I've got time today and have family over for lunch on Sunday, so seemed like a good time to put it up hehe.
It's a nice tradition to do the tree as a family on Christmas Eve, but at the same time, it's a shame because you don't really see it for very long. I guess that stems from back when trees were of the real kind rather than the plastic ones a lot of people use these days.
