Which reminds me...

Joy!

Did you reply to more DQs for the two BOMs you finished this week? We'll need those answers before the deadline so we can get your points, otherwise they will not count for BOM!

Thanks :-)

I am so far. Right now it's in the setting up the mystery phase, so I'm ready for some answers.

The set-up of the mystery is quite well done. I'm hoping the reveal won't be a let down!

Jammin Jenny (jamminjenny) | 4185 comments Nicole, what is your preference? Do you have both a #21 and #22 you can read? If you do, I'll just finish The Stand by Stephen King . I'd like to either read the series books or the long book - not sure I can handle both before the countdown.

message 1759: by Nicole (new)

Nicole P | 1834 comments Sorry. Made a mistake. I have #20 and #21. I mistakenly typed #20 twice.

So to clarify, I can read:

The Bone Bed #20 - 513 pgs
Dust #21 - 529 pgs

Nicole P | 1834 comments I'll shift to reading the Xmas monster book so long. And also want to spend some time looking at the books for the vanity mini-challenge. My strategy will be to only read 500+ page books.

Since Nicole can read #20 and #21 and Melinda can read a #23 (we don't need the #22, feel free to focus on your doorstop instead :-)

We're on our limit anyway as it is! It's been insane reading again this week!

Definitely a good strategy!

There are quite a few big books that have been recommended!
Oh, and please do not finish the Xmas monster until after the deadline, as we're on our limit!

No worries. I wouldn't have finished the Xmas monster. Slow going. Only so much historical romance I can take it. I've already started reading my #20.

Nicole P | 1834 comments That's it from me for Week 8 😊 I'm going to push myself with the Xmas monster this morning. I've only read 15 out of the 27. But will hold off on finishing till after the countdown. And then I did find some big books for vanity but will start them tomorrow as I'm going to the F1 Grand Prix this afternoon and the Killers concert afterwards.

message 1782: by Snowtulip (new)

I know like 4 songs from them 😂 But it's always such a good vibe after the F1 and a bonus because you can only go to the concerts if you have an F1 ticket.

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) I have a book I finished but didn't post because we are so close to our max. it's a blue cover so let me know if you need me to post it. I started a 1280 page book from the favorites thread and am working on that today and probably tomorrow m

Snowtulip | 4679 comments Who has book #22?

message 1789: by Stacie (new)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) 22 might be skipped according to the last posted list so someone can read a fat book instead. I think Melinda is on book 23 which can be posted now and then if there's time/room, maybe a 24?

message 1790: by Melindam (new)

Melindam | 8531 comments According to E's earlier post, Jenny & Melissa will probably post 1 book each + I'm finishing mine.
