Melissa | 247 comments My kids are out of school this week and we are hopefully going to be gone the dreaded process of packing up to move. I’m going to stick with my door stopper Under the Dome. Between my early morning reading and late night reading, I should be able to get it done. I don’t want anybody relying on me to finish a particular series number. We are probably going to be listening to one of the Harry Potter books as we work, so I may have that as well.

I'm going back to Shades of Wicked (Night Rebel, #1) by Jeaniene Frost . Would you consider this a purple cover? It's got weird shading and I'm unsure, though the paperback does have a purple tinge.

Haha ok :-)

I think it's less her world as such than her writing that is the issue for me.

But then, it already starts with her characters, whom I generally don't have all that much empathy for.

I also do that. There are some OK stories, but most of them so far are just so silly that I am laughing at them myself. It helps.

This song has been following me for the last couple of weeks. Every time I get into the car, it's on the radio, without fail after I woke up to it one morning haha.

I think that might be fitting for some of those fabulous novellas as well ;-)
