Before we decide on who is going to read for what # in series for next week, let's see what Stacie has to say as well since she's another speedy reader as well as Snowtulip, who is usually willing to read anything for a challenge, too. (I love you guys :-D)

I'll then try to put up a list of who reads for what, favouring the bigger page counts for the options you've listed already. And then we'll go from there.

Just remember that you have to finish them consecutively!! We cannot finish book #8 before we finish book #5!

If you don't want to go for the Gluttony mini, then those might be a good idea for next week? ;-)

I can do that. Where do we stand this week. I can either start a big one now or read a 300 page before tomorrow that is also a sin bingo

We currently have 30 books finished for this week.

With at least 5 more that are currently being read / finished up.

So we have room for another one from you if you want to :-)

Jammin Jenny (jamminjenny) | 4185 comments I should be finishing 3-4 before the deadline.

ETA: Here are the page counts in case we get too many books posting:

My Life in a Cat House True Tales of Love, Laughter, and Living with Five Felines by Gwen Cooper - 270 pages
The Five The Untold Lives of the Women Killed by Jack the Ripper by Hallie Rubenhold - 336 pages
The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck A Counterintuitive Approach to Living a Good Life by Mark Manson - 224 pages
Carnival of Secrets (Untamed City, #1) by Melissa Marr - 336 pages

I'll hold off on the two lower page count books (they're non-fiction so they also don't have as many letter possibilities) unless we want / need them.

message 1508: by Stacie (new)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) I've got two to post later and potentially two more after that. But definitely two more from me.

message 1509: by Stacie (new)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) I will take a look and let you all know shortly. In NYC and on the app, but going home this afternoon.

message 1510: by Stacie (new)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) Do we want bigger page counts for the mini too? I've got a lot of 300ish #1s, a 500ish #2, a 600ish #1, a 700ish #5 and that's just at first glance.

message 1511: by Jammin Jenny (new)

Jammin Jenny (jamminjenny) | 4185 comments For The Five The Untold Lives of the Women Killed by Jack the Ripper by Hallie Rubenhold can I use Jack the Ripper and the five women's names as MCs?

message 1512: by Jammin Jenny (last edited Nov 23, 2019 06:00AM) (new)

Jammin Jenny (jamminjenny) | 4185 comments I have some big Anita Blake books (#10-#11) that are 500+ books if we need them.

#10 - Narcissus in Chains (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter, #10) by Laurell K. Hamilton - 644 pages
#11 - Cerulean Sins (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter, #11) by Laurell K. Hamilton - 529 pages

Non Fiction is always a bit of an oddity when it comes to characters as technically these people aren't characters but real people a story is told about.

Personally, to be on the safe side, for non fiction I always only use title and author.

I'll have to look in more detail, but we already have a lot of options for #2 and #3 so if you could keep that long #5 in mind, that'd be awesome!

No rush though, take your time checking your books! :-) And have a good trip back!

Ok, so this is an idea of how we could do it.
Melinda already started her #1, so that one's staying in place. Everything else can be changed still unless someone else has already started one of theirs.

Does this look doable so far?

Which other series books could you read? The bigger the better, as per usual hehe.

Please remember, the books have to be finished consecutively, so please keep an eye on the thread for completion posts so you know when you can finish yours.

message 1544: by Melindam (new)

Melindam | 8534 comments Yes, will finish Butterface by tomorrow morning.

If we need a higher #number in a series, I can always grab and read a Discworld book but they are "only" bw 300-400 pages. But once we get so far up the ladder, you just give me a shout. :)

I'll change my book for my bingo call, so I'll not read Shades of Wicked (#1 in series) but I'll go for Lover Avenged instead, as it's a #7 in series, and longer. So it'll take me more time as well though... fair warning. I'll try to be as fast as possible!
