Alternate Sin: avarice (anything goes)
Greed mini challenge:

all-you-can-eat:the cafeteria was an all you can eat buffet on Saturday and Sunday at the Institute (pg 100)
So, if I'm looking over the words we could use most - taking into consideration Melinda's previous post, our words would be:
- car (covered by Melinda)
- ruby (covered by Melissa)
And those will give us TWO completed bingo lines.
- crown (covered by Nicole)
- bottle (covered by Snowtulip)
That would give us another completed bingo line.
- coin (covered by Stacie)
Which would give us yet another completed line.
There are more options, which I'll list later once I've finished my book and decided what to use it for haha.

For this challenge, do we find a book with title/author/main character that begins with the words we choose to spell out as a team?

With the letters, I assume you meant :-)
But yes!
We decide as a team which words we're going to spell-out and then we read books that fit for the letters we'll need.
The longer the word(s) the better! We get an additional 7 points for every word we spell out that has 7 or more letters, i.e. such as "allowed" or "wallets".

Nicole, with crown we'll get a double bingo line completed, so extra 14 points: :)
Depending on where E allocates her own book, it could be for gown/truffles or butler / caviar
What say you, E.?

Melindam wrote: "Depending on where E allocates her own book, it could be for gown/truffles or butler / caviar"
This!
So, if I allocate my book to aristocracy, we'll need:
- butler
- caviar
If I allocate my book to banquet, we'll need:
- truffles (covered by Snowtulip)
- gown (covered by Vianvamp)
I don't mind either way where it is allocated - what can you easily find books for?? I'll allocate my book accordingly.
We have another almost finished bingo line in the middle, where we'd only need two more words, namely:
- all-you-can-eat (covered by Jenny)
- pretty (covered by Jenny)
Since these are being read for, another option for Bingo line has opened up:
- chairman
- glittery

I can drop the book I'm reading and pick up something else. I'll look through my tbr pile and see if I have anything that will fit the words we need still.

Just flipping through, it will work for gown. There might be more options but I'm not sure yet.

If you're sure you can finish it before the countdown, go for it! :-)

The cover has a lot of food on it"
Yes, I'm sure we can make that work - lots and lots of food inside the book as well if the synopsis is any indication!
